Nice guy. Communication was lousy. Things seem to get worse as the build went on. Many pieces of trim are cracked from screws. Didn't put trim in the inside of two closets, said it was not in the contract. Walls had white spots all over, needed second coat. Major cold air leaks around all exterior doors due to lack of proper insulation. One of the roof truss supports was not secured at all on one end. Paperwork has all hand written and unorganized. Didn't follow owners wishes/directions in some cases. Roof singles in one corner are not straight, but still work fine. Never got a copy of finished floor plans. One bath fan exhaust was not connected. Some pocket doors/interior doors are not straight and rub against trim. Put interior low e window in garage and put garage window in the interior house. Got defensive just about anything when asked a question. Didn't admit to most mistakes or denies mistakes. Got hung up on the phone. Spoke/texted to in unprofessional manner. Didn't finish list of items that needed attention by building inspector. Never followed up on how things are. Finished house on time as in contract. Has good flexibility. Did let owner assist in project. Was very personable during the meet and greet. Competitive pricing. Found exterior gas leak and had gas company fix. Let owner use trailer for "moving in" trash. Spent extra time with owner before build checking out land lot. Came up with good idea for unused space in garage that was not part of the original floor plan. Insulates garage as part of contract. Able to "add on" to the build for agreed extra cost. Passed final building inspection. At times it seemed like there was a real desire to build our dream house and other times it seemed not. We were very excited to build a house and turned out to be a nightmare.
