Two men arrived, though the younger clearly was a learner and the older man did all the serious work. It took much less time than I thought it would and they cleaned up well and took away the old carpet!

Installer was friendly and efficient. Decorator offered to come and give a recommendation.

Dand M has a very extensive showroom with loads of options for tile size, colors, and materials plus the associated accessories. The showroom people are very helpful in the selection process and were patient throughout as we changed our minds a few times over a couple of different visits. Once we settled on the materials that we wanted it was pattern / design time. I feel this process could use a bit more creativity. While the designs that were proposed were not in any way "bad", you can also say that they were not original inspirations either (it seems that all of the tile people these days go to the same trade shows and then offer the same design ideas).
The install guys showed up promptly when scheduled and were extremely courteous and focused on having the project turn out to our satisfaction. One thing that came up during the install process should have been raised as part of the design phase: how to handle outside corners. The design people should make customers aware of having to choose between simply tiling the corner or using a border strip and the reasons for both approaches. Tile installation is a dusty / messy project, but the guys cleaned-up the cutting and work areas nicely and overall, did a good job.
Final points: (a) the showroom should consider a virtual / rendering program to better demonstrate the product / design selections prior to install as sketches / hand drawings in this day and age are a bit under-whelming and do not adequately show the homeowner what the new appearance will truly be (in our case we would have changed the design of the sink area from what we originally selected); and (b) the material prices are very reasonable but I feel that their labor rates for install are very high.

They are wonderful to work with and we are very happy with their service. They have great quality carpet and do a great job installing. They are very thorough and have a great interior design department.

I visited Dand M with a sample of my counter top and cabinet stain and the interior designer worked with me in selecting the appropriate color coordinated flooring and counter backsplash in order to pull the entire design together. She knew exactly what worked well together and made suggestions to ensure that the kitchen and bath had a good flow of color and continuity.



The flow from the designer to the person who came to measure everything for an estimate to the installers was seamless. I was provided information with a step by step process of who would be contacting me next and what their role was. All information and updates were provided in a timely fashion and my questions where always answered in a timely manner.



Once installation was scheduled, everything ran like clock-work. The installers arrived on time, kept me updated on their progress and answered questions. Their goal was to make sure I was happy with the work they were doing and didn't hesitate to



confirm everything down to the smallest detail as needed. Once the job was done, they cleaned up everything and took the left over materials (tiles) to my basement.



Everyone I dealt with from Dand M acted with the upmost professionalism. I was so very impressed with everyone and the job they did. I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend or return for future flooring needs.

The Carpeting in the Great Room still looks great. The bathroom and the Entry tile still looks great. As for the Pieced Carpet in the
Great room , to this day even after being cleaned you can not see where it was pieced.
I paid for quality and I got it . Now I am going to have them carpet my whole upstairs.
