Still have a smaller gap. NO sure what to do. Maybe a bigger and better rubber? seal. Have been busy doctoring with cancer and other ailments and he wad going to do a followup telephone and I kept forgetting to call him. Call me if you have suggestions 725-5444

Technician was professional and fast. Torsion springs were replace promptly and he pointed out where the cables are failing and recommended replacement. Advised the life of the garage door opener was almost up but didn't pressure a replacement.

Wonderfully, Kyle was on time, very professional and friendly. He not only balanced the door (tightened springs), he also lubricated everything, adjusted rails, and tightened the chain. The door now opens and closes properly and is much quieter.

Fixed the cable fine and put on new rollers. However, when the garage door went up it would start falling back down by itself. After two follow-up calls they said there was nothing they could do and that we needed a new opener. Another person came out and readjusted the spring and it fixed the problem

Within 15 minutes of posting request, we received a phone call (on a Saturday!). Appointment was set for them to come Monday morning. He was punctual, polite, and fast. The job was done within 45 minutes.

Very satisfied with the job that was performed. Tech arrived about an hour before schedule, but called when he was about 30 minutes away, so we were ready for him. He walked in the garage and immediately saw the problem; broken spring. He was very nice and professional. Fixed the problem; replaced both springs. I was really appreciative that they were able to respond the day following my call. The price for the service may have been somewhat high, but I was happy to pay it in order to get the door fixed so quickly.

I was told the technician would be at my home between noon and 2pm. At 2:30, I called and was told he was running late. The dispatcher was suppose to have called me to let me know. :( The garage door needed new springs for the noise problem, which the technician installed, along with a new rubber seal at the bottom of the door. After a couple of days we noticed there was light coming into the garage at the edge of the bottom seal. We called and they sent someone out later that day to remove a screw in the seal which solved the problem.

I pretty much gave them a blank check to repair two garage doors that were not closing properly (reversing immediately when the close door button was closed). They committed to come out the next day, which was great for a non-emergency situation. However, the guy did not make it within the committed window, so I was out on some other tasks when he arrived and he worked with my wife on the issues. He assessed the problem quickly (mis-aligned safety beams), repaired them (two doors) and lubed everything (even included a manual back yard overhead door). He gave my wife some suggestions (now to-do's for me!) for avoiding problems in the future. Total price was less than I thought it would be, and there was no attempt at up-selling, which was very much appreciated.

The technician explained that the main door was failing, showed what was happening, and demonstrated the results of not fixing the door. Gave us options for doors and openers. We decided to replace both garage doors and openers and they were ordered. Installation happened about three weeks later, quick and fast. The original tune-up cost was applied to the new door installation. Great work, and great products.

As of 2:30 PM today I hadn't heard back from Stephanie, so I called up and was told that she ran a credit through on my card today. I believe her.
When asked about what happened, initially she stated that American Overhead Door is transitioning to a new system. So they have an old system and a new system that they are moving to. Sometimes people will submit a bill twice.
When informed that I actually got a telephone call requesting the CCV number again the next day for that charge, Stephanie stated that there must have been a miscommunication between the 2 schedulers. She couldn't think of any other reason.
I've changed from an F to a B star review because
* Honesty is huge with me
* The fact that they were able to come to my house the day after I called them for the repair.
* The contractors, engineers, and consultants I've talked to have indicated that they have been a reasonable company.
It's a B instead of an A review review because
* Didn't return my phone call when they credited my card or do any research on what exactly caused the issue.
* I paid $112 for installation of a * They still have no system/process with training in place to stop this from happening again.
* I had to spend an hour of my own time, which I was NOT reimbursed for, to attempt to troubleshoot the issue with their lack of process and training.
***Original Review*** We had American Overhead Door Replace a garage door T-Handle on May 10, 2017. They charged us $112 on May 10, 2017. Then called me up the next day stating they didn't have my CCV code to run the charge. I hadn't checked to see if the charge ran through, so I gave it to them. They then ran the charge for $112 again on May 11, 2017.
It is May 23, 2017 now. I called American Overhead Door today at 4 PM and spoke with a gentleman who never offered his name. I was told that the accountant's name who I needed to speak to was Stephanie (spelling not verified) and she was gone for the day.
I requested Stephanie call me back tomorrow and indicate exactly what happened, what they are doing to prevent it from happening again, and why it wasn't caught in their system. I will update this review as soon as I have heard from American Overhead Door.

Tony was on time and completed the job in far less time than I anticipated. He is very knowledgeable, experienced and did an excellent job working steadily until finished. He even gave me a couple of pointers on how to improve my opener installation. I'm very satisfied with the product and service.
