First, he shorted all the drawers. Instead of making them the length that is standard in the industry, he made them 16", all my stuff kept falling out of the drawers into the cabinet below. He never built the roll-out garbage cabinet, said he didn't know how. He never made the cabinet for the china that was to be at the end of the kitchen, and he never built the lockers in the mudroom. Then after he was done and we had paid our bill, he proceeded to sue us in small claims court, because he didn't feel he charged us enough for his work. He sent us numerous bogus letters charging us with all sorts of odd things, even threatening to sue our friends, because they were there?? Not quite sure what that was about. How he could even get a suit like that on the books is beyond me. No wonder the court system is so tied up. We ended up paying him a settlement to end the stupidity, because the court costs and time spent fighting it were endless. Lawyers have a way of making these things take forever, and you pay by the minute for their time. We just got sick of the whole ordeal, so we took the easy way out. Now as I look back, I wish I would have stuck it out. He deserves to be taken out of business for what he did to our family, and our home. We have recently gotten the drawers fixed, It cost us over $600.00 to do it. Mr. Scheinpflug had over 23 lawsuits on the Wisconsin Circuit court records at the time of our lawsuit. I haven't checked recently to see if there are anymore. I should have checked before we hired him. The biggest thing, I do not want anyone else to get taken by this man like we did. (and apparently others) Beware, he is very cunning and manipulative. Don't know how he manages, but somehow people keep believing he is honest.
