discussed this project with provider before start. I informed provider I needed 150 to 200 cubic yards of fill. The provider told me he would not access the sight using my private paved driveway as it would destroy my driveway. The provider hauled in almost 500 cubic yards of sand, and used my driveway doing considerable damage to it. provider offered to discount about 30 cubic yards of fill and would give me a $800.00 discount for driveway repair based on a verbal quote he got. I had the same contractor come out and quote me for the repairs at $3000.00. I told him that his discount wasn't fair or close. The provider refused to do more, so I refused to pay him. We ended up in court where he told the court he never said he wouldn't use the driveway and we had no contract. The court believed him. I.E. I'm stuck with way to much fill and a ruined driveway.
