Wood & Link Fence Co. installed a 5' high with three gates black chain link fence around my property, it is absolutely beautiful. I typically get lazy and side-tracked and don't manage to write reviews for companies, but this company is so absolutely SPECTACULAR, I needed to take the time to add my review to the mix. In July, I moved to a new home and needed to put up a stronger fence for my crazy dog (an 80lb Pyrenees/Collie mix). My dog is property protective, very smart, and very agile. I needed to figure out which fence would keep her safely contained in the yard and relatively distraction-free. The wonderful guys at Wood & Link talked me through the various material options and helped me brainstorm additional ideas to help keep my dog from finding a way through, under, or over the fence. They then put up the fencing, exactly as promised (on time, on price, and totally professional crew!) When there was a strange issue (my yard is oddly-shaped and has a slope), the crew explained exactly what the issue was and exactly how they'd address it with the fence construction. They were wonderful with answering questions throughout the process. Then, over the past 8 months, my crazy, brilliant dog keeps finding new ways to find further issues in the yard (we have raccoons in the neighboring area, so Maggie likes to hurl herself at the fence a lot). This has resulted in a couple of minor aesthetic edge pieces being knocked out of place (she's never once come even close to making it through the fence, and it's remained sturdy this entire time -- these are just small corner pieces, shifting primarily because the corners are on odd angles due to my yard shape). Each time there's been an issue, the crew has come out and fixed the problem for free! In addition, they've helped me immensely in figuring out ways to problem-solve around my crazy dog's issues, and they've helped me (at zero additional cost over these months) to find further solutions to secure the fence even further. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They have so much professionalism and integrity! I have recommended them to everyone I know, and I wanted to do the same here on Angie's List for the next customer: hire these guys! They're AMAZING!!!!

They had to dig out 5 posts and replace them. Replaced cedar boards in one section due to rot. Reinforced each section (14) with 2x4 pressure treated boards. They did excellent work and would hire them again!

The work we needed done was completed exactly as the estimate had shown and the crew was fast, efficient, and courteous. Jim, the owner, came out to direct his crew at the start of the day and came back to inspect their work & make sure everything that needed to be done had been before any invoice was paid. We are very happy with the work that was done and will most definitely look to them again if need be.

The quality of the work and the look of the finished product exceeded our expectations. Our daughter was so impressed that she will hire them to do a similar fence for her. The fence is split rail with black wire behind it to keep our dogs in. Five gates are very sturdy and all work well.

Excellent! We got several bids for what we wanted. Jim's was about in the middle, but we had seen his work on a friend's house and decided to go with him. We have 3 large dogs who enjoy running down the road and wanted to stop that at our new house. Jim and his crew came out and marked where we wanted the fence, got the locator service to come out to be sure we avoided the underground power, then arrived on time and put up the fence. We had arranged for an electric gate as part of the installation, but after the first day it dawned on us that a man-gate would be much easier for fetching rogue dogs who managed to escape. We called that night, left a message, and they were able to make the change the next day in the part of the fence that wasn't up yet. The fence is exactly what we wanted. We put some Costco solar lights up on some of the fence posts, especially around the keypad for entry, and the house and the dogs are much more secure.

Great job, They used a 9-inch auger to give the posts a solid base. The materials are first rate and the clean-up was efficient and they moved the overburden to our chosen location. Great people to work with.

Jim the owner was involved every inch of the way. His crew was top notch and together their work was outstanding. The job was started on time and completed in just a matter of a few days. Straight as a string, sturdy and looking sharp with no muss or fuss. They left the job site clean. I would highly recommend this company and crew to family members and friends.

Jim and his crew were great, wasn't just a normal fence installation, with concrete running the entire bottom of the fence requiring it to be jack hammered and broken up. Took a couple extra days because of the concrete but honored the original quote and did an amazing job with the fence. Looks great!!

Jim and his team were extreamly professional, prompt and skilled. After our initial review of the job, Jim emailed me a detailed quote outlining the proposal. His bid was fair and I asked him to proceed. His proposal included stronger posts, so he needed to cut into the concrete. I could not be happier with the outcome, the new gate is perfect!

Jim did an amazing job on the project. I thought the price was reasonable and he provided different options of fence material other than vinyl along with his recommendations. The project turned out better than I could have hoped and his product enhanced my property.
