Terry met with me initially to go over the work I requested and received estimate of time it would take for complete job and his price, which is per hour. He told me it would be about 2 weeks until he could begin. A little over 2 weeks later he called on a Sunday afternoon to say he could begin the next morning at 8 a.m.  He arrived right at 8 a.m., we again discussed the various jobs, he took notes of the supplies he needed to get and what I would supply. He then left to get the supplies he needed, which took very little time, and then returned. He told me the order in which he would do the various jobs and started right away. He asked questions to ensure he knew exactly what I wanted done, listened to me, and adjusted as needed. He cleaned up as he went along and kept his equipment neatly on my patio and in my garage upon leaving for the day. He suggested a couple things that he felt would look better, which I agreed with and appreciated. His preparation before painting was excellent, taping off everything, taking off switch plates, etc, and taping the outlets. He arrived promptly at 8 a.m. each of the 3 days, took a brief lunch break about the same time each day, and left at the same time each day. When he finished after 3 full days he made sure I was happy with everything and told me to contact him if I notice anything that needs attention. He also pointed out a minor electrical issue I have that he noticed when unplugging an appliance, which was greatly appreciated. Upon presenting me with his invoice, he explained everything line by line, gave me the receipts for all supplies he purchased in addition to having the total on the invoice. He charged tax on his service, which is an indication that his business is a valid one and he's not trying to work under the table. I have employed many workers over many years and Terry is by far one of the top performers. I will definitely call on his services again.
