Inland Arbor does an excellent job. They returned my call quickly, came out when they said they would come out, and quickly completed the job.

We called for an estimate on two different properties. We were interested in having trees and some shrubs trimmed up with one removal. Estimate was free. Mr. Layton showed up on time, gave us a detailed estimate in writing shortly after visit. We opted to have him do the work. Again, he and fellow workers showed up on time, worked steadily and completed the job over a period of about a week, given wintery weather conditions. The trees came out beautifully, they cut up large branches into firewood for us, mulched the rest and left it for our garden use and hauled away any other unwanted debris. They did an excellent job cleaning up. They worked safely and there was no damage to our house or other plants and landscape. Now I can't wait for spring to see how great it looks. They also said they would come out in spring and trim any other deadwood in trees that they missed because it was hard to find it all in winter. All the branches look dead then and to treat one bush that we cut back so it will not continue to grow. Mr. Layton and his team were pleasant and friendly, easy to work with. We will continue to have Mr. Layton and his team come back periodically to keep our trees in top shape. Highly recommend.

Daniel came out when he said he would, and actually performed the work a day earlier than he thought, notifying me ahead of time. The entire site was all cleaned up and cleared away so you wouldn't even know they'd been there if you didn't know all the work that had been done. Everything looks great! The price was exactly how much he told me it would be on the written estimate. A pleasure to work with!

The owner is an arborist with a degree and is very professional. He tells you every detail and had a crew here that cleaned up well. They did everything they said they were going to do and did it in a timely manner. He was very honest and I recommend him. They are probably not the least expensive but I think the guys who did it were quality guys.

Daniel Layton is a Certified Arborist and really knows trees. We had several trees that we wanted healthfully shaped up, not just arbitrarily "chopped." We were very happy with all phases of the work he did for us, from initial free estimate to completion. Daniel is very personable and knowledgeable, patiently answered all our questions, and provided additional suggestions. He arrived very reliably at the time that was scheduled. Communicating with him by email was convenient for me and worked very well. He was quick to answer my email questions. The work he did for us: pruned a very large walnut tree, a tall pine, a big cherry tree, and a big sprawling locust; also seven birch trees required some light pruning. In addition, the locust needed a support cable replaced. All the pruned branches were nicely cleaned up and hauled away. The trees are beautiful.

When I called to ask about this job, Daniel scheduled me 3 weeks out. When the 3 weeks rolled around he was right on schedule, called the day before to confirm and showed up when he said he would. The 3 man crew knew what they were doing with their saws and Daniel was careful that surrounding buildings, wires or plantings were not damaged by falling tree limbs. The cleared area is clean looking and the mature trees are more open and graceful looking as a result of the pruning. I am really happy with the job! As an added bonus they volunteered to saw up an apple box full of odd shaped firewood that was sitting in my yard!

And P.S. - Inland Arbor is the one to call if you have problems with Magpies nesting in your trees. They have enormous ladders and poles to reach the nests, not to mention their experience climbing in trees.
