they started on time, coordinated everything. they finished just before the rains started and water started flowing through the creek. They were great to deal with. They worked with the electrical contractor (ADK), with PUD (to move transformer and schedule inspection), with CenturyLink (phone had to be retrenched and reconnected), and with the Department of Fish and Wildlife. The 50k cost does not include engineering, electrical, PUD and CenturyLink bills which add about another 10K (but we had electrical panels replaced while we were at it as a job that had needed doing and since we'd be powerless for 3 days anyway....). The new culvert is much larger, the driveway is back to being wide enough, and no risk of washing away. After they were done everything looks great, and they graveled the driveway end to end, taking care of the impact of so much heavy equipment. they also created some mounds in the field with some of the leftover dirt as a favor for my husband (the start of a landscaping project he's been thinking about for years). The best part was getting it done quickly, and getting us back into the house with power and phone earlier than we'd hoped.
