It did not go well. They said it would take two days, but it took almost two months. The owner was trying to get his employees to do things they were not comfortable doing. They had to come back to fix things but they still did not get everything fixed. They are unprofessional.

We had a very hard time finding a contractor to do this job for us.  They were either too busy or too expensive. SED Construction was the only company that was willing to do the job and worked within our budget.  They determined the best course of action to repair the wall and always communicated any possible changes in the plan (always for the better).  The work was done professionally and robustly.  SED Construction often went beyond what was called for in order to do the job better.  It was obvious that pride in workmanship is important to this company.

He told my wife it would be done in a week, I honestly expected two weeks. The work took two full months. My house was completely torn up during the process. The final cost was double what I was originally quoted. They identified plumbing and electrical problems that did not exist before they started work, and charged me to have them fixed. The billing was not done professionally and itemized, and was submitted multiple times for different amounts. 

Once work was started I do find the quality to be in good, but the lack of professionalism and the overall interaction with Jeff was so poor that I will never consider doing business with him in the future. I found him to be very arrogant and unprofessional. His team was very good, but Jeff was awful.

Rebuild of 35 year old carport with deck; upgraded to meet current codes; deck coated with GACO - somewhat difficult install due to weather - either too hot, or too much humidity. Very good follow-up and quality, bordering on compulsive attention to detail.

We initially hired Jeff Poole (SED construction)  from a recommendation of our real estate agent to update & repair our new home after a flood.  The amount of work to be done was extensive and diverse involving a wide range tasks such as plumbing, electrical, bathroom renovation (down to the studs), gas line installation,  floor refurbishing and fixing both interior
and exterior structural issues.  Jeff wascertainly up to the task.  He brought a wide range of skills and expertise to each job and hired highly qualified subcontractors where appropriate to ensure proper workmanship. 
Most notable about Jeff is that for every task and in every step of the way he gave high priority to doing the job right with regard to quality and safety.  Jeff never skimped on the quality of work and he always took pride in doing the job correctly while keeping cost reasonable.
Jeff gave insightful and excellent advice on both esthetic and function of the upgrades to our home. Jeff often saw issues that we never would have foreseen and offered sound advice on dealing with them.  After all of Jeff?s good work and consultation I feel that our home is now fundamentally sound and will be for years to come.
Jeff prices were reasonable? we got a high quality product for a very fair price.  Jeff will also give you 110%--after our unexpected flood Jeff worked long hours to mitigate the damage to our home.  If you are looking for a job done right and value added to your home we highly recommend Jeff.

Jeff and his crew were on the job site by 8:00 or 9:00 AM each day and worked till 5:00 or 6:00 PM daily and part of Memorial Day weekend to meet their designated timeline.  Some delays occurred due to unforeseen utility issues (existing fence was built on top of a PUD electrical line and safety issues had to be addressed before work could begin) and a permit requirement by the City of Lake Stevens  to do business in the City had to be acquired from the State.   Both issues were resolved satisfactorily.
Jeff and crew were courteous and professional at all times and addressed homeowners directly affected by construction with tact and goodwill.  The quality of their materials and installation were top notch and inspected on a daily basis by members of the HOA Board of Directors including a member of its Architectural Committee.  We are confident that this installation will be solid for the next 15 years at least and we feel we definitely got full value for our investment.

Jeff Poole, the contractor, does quality work at a reasonable price.  He uses on high quality materials and does not take any shortcuts.  He is very knowledgeable in residential construction and remodeling and he stands behind his work.  We would use him again.
