PureDry Restoration

I had standing water on the kitchen floor and made the mistake of calling a well-known water mitigation company. I corrected that mistake when I called PureDry® Restoration, after the first company pulled their equipment out and stated they were finished. I had suspicions they did not complete the job properly, so called PureDry for a second opinion. The team that responded to my request was truly the “dream team.” My initial contact, Alex, came out to do an inspection. He used a thermal camera to determine the condition of the kitchen cabinets and took moisture readings of various areas of the floor. Alex found that the previous company did not check the framing for moisture; failed to pull the dishwasher to remove the wet vinyl underneath it; failed to sweep up debris from the floor removal; failed to HEPA vacuum; failed to wipe down all the dust created by the equipment and failed to put the furniture on blocks so the wood was protected from the damp cement floor. These are all standard activities associated with water mitigation. I hired PureDry to finish the job. When I met technicians Reizen and Kelly on site I was immediately impressed. They were extremely knowledgeable and very professional. They were well-trained and could easily cite what activities were essential and how they should be performed safely and effectively, based on the IICRC S500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration. Reizen and Kelly were invested in our partnership, ensuring I understood everything they did and why and answering all of my questions. They also created comprehensive documentation for me and my insurance company, including room drawings and pictures, and did an excellent job keeping me informed as the work progressed. I was relieved to be able to trust PureDry to complete the job that a different company left unfinished. My only regret is that I didn’t hire PureDry first. I commend everyone on the team and am so grateful for their integrity, the quality of their personnel and their performance. In spite of the situation, working with the PureDry team was an exceedingly positive experience. If there was an A++++ rating, I would give it. I highly recommend them.

The work was done quickly. The most expensive portion was asbestos testing done by another company, which they required before touching the drywall.
