Michael was very thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the process. He spent a few hours with us at the house, systematically examining the structures inside and out. He was very willing to explain things to us and answer our questions. He provided a written report about 36 hours after we finished the inspection, and it was thorough and helpful, with a lot of clear pictures to show the issues he had identified. He identified significant problems with the structural soundness of the garage and driveway, and he matter-of-factly talked us through some remediation alternatives, ranges of potential costs, and what he would recommend for next steps. He was clear about what his inspection did and did not cover, and where we should particularly consider a second opinion by a specialist. The structural issues ultimately led us not to purchase the house, and we are very grateful for the knowledge and information Michael provided to help us be confident in that decision. Long after the inspection was completed, he continued to give advice. By talking to the drainage company's owner, he helped me to recover more than $6,000.00 from a company who installed a drain system that was not necessary. He talked to my general contractor and explained how to install an appropriate drain system at about 1/10th the cost. Every time I call him with a question about something around the house, he makes himself available to me. His competence and knowledge is far-reaching. He exceeds your expectations with what you would expect for this field. He was also very patient with my questions and concerns. He gave me a great peace of mind.

Excellent. I should say this had to be scheduled at the last minute over the Thanksgiving weekend. Mike made himself availabe and took his time inspecting the house which I greatly appreciated. Although nothing major was found, he pointed out several items of concern. He was most helpful in prioritizing the list and explaining why something should be done soon and/or why it could wait. He was very patient and took his time answering all our questions and even though it's a busy time for him, he made it clear I could call if we had any further concerns.
It was obvious that Mike knew his stuff and I felt confident in his report. I would not hesitate to recommend his company.

He came and was on time and professional. He was willing to let us walk around the entire house with him and ask questions, except for when he went on the roof. He answered all of our questions to the most simple to the most complex. I was having a hard time having people do an energy audit on our home and he also has those credentials. He did not do an energy audit, but he was able to give me some preliminary results. His report is about 45 pages with photos of everything. He was very though and complete. He invited us to call him at any time if we had any questions. I had someone else recommend we get some other work done and I did call him to get his advice and he did give me his opinions.

From the very start, Michael did everything that we expected and more. He allowed my husband to follow along with his full inspection, and answered all questions with patience and clarity to the full satisfaction of my engineer husband, who is interested in details. Michael used a very high end infrared camera that allowed him to view the interior surfaces of the siding. The report he sent us in a very timely fashion, was beyond anything we expected. It included detailed pictures of areas that we need to fix with recommendations on what and how to proceed. This was one of the best inspection services we have ever had.

Mike showed up precisely on time and spent nearly 4 hours on the whole process. He pointed out issues in our crawl space and recommended companies to solve those issues. After receiving the report Mike was readily available to answer questions and clarify his comments.
