Matt Allen

I've known Matt for about 7 years and he's worked for me before. I can honestly say that his work is top notch. I'm getting ready to sell my house and I needed somebody to finish up lots of "little" tasks that need to be done before I put it on the market. His trim work has tight joints -- his measuring accuracy amazes me. When materials meet (such as painted trim to wood trim), he always has good recommendations for making it look good. He does it all. He finished the door and the door frame. He installed a new kitchen window and added trim to the outside and inside of the window. He installed new vinyl in two bathrooms and a hallway. I have two swantstone shower enclosures on order and I plan to have Matt install them when they arrive. I also plan to have him install new electrical fixures and vanities in my bathrooms as soon after the vinyl is down.

He is a trained architect and an excellent carpenter, and he manages to do plumbing and electrical work as well. He also has contacts and resources that are beyond his ability and we are confident to have him do work on our house when we are away. He seems a little casual, but he is responsive and punctual.
