Summary: The entire experience was excellent. Good communication throughout the process, and they did exactly what they said. They did the demolition on the cabinets, countertop, and backsplash, refaced some existing cabinets, and added a lot of custom cabinetry, along with a quartz countertop. The price was under 1/2 of what several other companies quoted. Price: They charged us under half of what some other companies quoted. However, it's not quite apples to apples, because those other companies folded in everything (plumbing, electrical, etc). I did some prep work myself to demo the existing island, and arranged the plumber and electrician myself. I ended up saving over $20k all told. What they do: They removed existing cabinets based on our contract, removed the existing tile backsplash and repaired the dry wall so that it was "tile ready". They installed custom cabinets (much higher quality than the existing boxes), faced all the cabinets to make the transitions from older boxes to new ones undetectable, added the new island and countertop. They replaced all doors with soft close hinges, and all of the new drawers also have soft close slides. The new cabinetry is very well made, real wood boxes, and high quality materials. What I did: before they came out, I took out the existing island. I also arranged for plumbing and electrical, as needed, and repaired the floor around the new island. After they left, I tiled the backsplash, installed the open shelving, and put soft close drawer slides in the old drawers to match the new ones. Timeline: Once we put down our deposit, we waited just about 5 months, which was a bummer. But once they started, they were true to their word and were done within 8 days. Results: We ended up with a really nice kitchen. The layout makes a lot more sense, and we essentially doubled the amount of usable counterspace. The cabinets and drawers are all soft close, and while we did put in some open shelves, we ended up netting about the same amount of cabinet storage with the addition of the new lowers along the wall and the much larger island. Other odd notes: We have two cats and two giant dogs, and needed access to the kitchen space during the remodel. They were really good about keeping doors closed and keeping the area tidy at the end of each work day. We planned to not use the kitchen during the remodel, but they did indicate that they would work with us if we had to.

They installed a brand new cabinet under our secretary desk, and did a complete remodel of the kitchen cabinets (resurfacing) and new drawers and it was excellent. More over, after a year, we had an issue with a cabinet door screw coming out and they came out and fixed it under warranty. I want to say I not only value the great value we got from the kitchen remodel, but I respect and appreciate the great post-installation service and support. This is a company I want to do business with and I can recommend them to others with no reservations.

Everyone at Heritage Homecraft has been such a pleasure to work with. From the initial quote to the finished product this week, they kept every commitment made to us. Edgar worked hard to ensure that our cabinets would be beautiful. Everyone communicated well, they were respectful of our home and they even finished a day early. We highly recommend Heritage Homecraft!

It was a fantastic experience right from the start. We had a lot of cabinets and drawer fronts that needed to refaced. Our carpenter was amazing! He gave us great pointers and ideas and then worked his tail off, doing top quality work! We just love the results! Wonderful company to work with!

My 36 year old kitchen needed a remodel. I went out and got three bids. I've never received three bids and chosen the most expensive bid before. But in looking at the two other options of using paper thin laminate, I believed the idea that 1/4 solid wood refacing was a better option, so I chose Heritage. In retrospect, I could have replaced the cabinets for a little more, but that would have been a real mess. I could not be happier with Heritage, they are real craftsman. I will say, I was turned off by the "hard-sell" approach of the salesman on the first visit and was almost going to pull the plug on the job. I don't like when someone tells me, "this price is only good for today, tomorrow it goes up". I will say that this approach cheapens the feel of what I see as a quality outfit. My advise, be straight Now on to the job. I was here for part of the work and, all of their claims of their quality, craftsmanship, punctuality and attention to detail, they followed through on, and then some. The carpenter, a young guy actually, Joel, came the first day and do not be fooled by his age or his years of experience, this guy does amazing work. He refaced all my cabinets, and also did some framing work around my two windows and a kitchen pocket door and repaired a couple of drawers for me, as well as add some glass doors to an open cabinet. Three examples of how this company goes above and beyond. He replaced a small spice drawer under my cooktop with a really nice soft-slide drawer, and I didn't specify the proper height and he didn't measure. As much my fault as his. But when they came back out to finish the framing for my pocket door, he spent several hours resetting the drawer height exactly to fit my spices. He could have said, sorry, that wasn't our responsibility, but without question, they came out and did the work so it would be perfect for me, at their expense. Second, I had a hidden button on the side of the cooktop I neglected to tell him about, so when he covered the appliances, he engaged the raisable downdraft vent and damaged the motor. Without any question, they hired an appliance repair company, came out next day and repaired it, so the job would be done by that Saturday. No questions asked. Lastly, I have a vacuum robot that I used for my new floors, the lip under the cabinets was just the wrong height such that the vacuum kept jamming under the cabinets. Joel happily ground up the height of the lip just enough so the vacuum fit under. So, bottom line, the kitchen looks perfect, the wood finish is solid, durable, beautiful, the cost was admittedly higher than I had anticipated, but what I have is a really beautiful kitchen, built exactly as I wanted it to be, the guys were punctual, responsive, always there to answer questions or concerns and never gave me a hard time and did everything they could to make this the perfect kitchen. It has been a long time since a company has been this true to their word

From the very first visit, Heritage Homecraft and their employees were professional, timely, informed and helpful. Their choices were plentiful, but MOST importantly, their refacing was done with REAL WOOD, not an inferior product. From scheduling to measuring to designing to the actual installation, they were always professional and prompt. The work was top quality, everything was left clean and tidy each night as he left, the project was done right on time. When there was a little snafu with an outside glass vendor (that *I* chose) they made the mistake right, and it didn't cost me a penny. They just wanted a happy client, and they have one. I can't recommend them highly enough. I'm SO pleased with my new kitchen!

We have had Heritage come out twice now, first we did our kitchen and then two bathrooms. Additionally, we had two windows framed out to match the cabinets. One window had some very difficult cuts, it came out just perfect and looks amazing. If you have a window over your sink like I do, I recommend getting the quartz added to the window as a ledge. They will also frame out the window to match the cabinets.

There are two parts to my review the cabinets and the counter top. The cabinet installation resurfacing and work are excellent. The installer was very nice and professional and did an excellent job. One thing I'd recommend is if you have drawers that are not working really well go ahead and have the drawer boxes replaced. We only did one and it is so much better now than the others I wish we'd done them all. Counter top The material itself is fine and the appearance is good. The installers were nice and professional. The problem we had is the fact that they cut it in two sections at nine feet and there is a visible seam at the join. And that seam is visible and just does not look good. Plus it appears a chip happened at the cut in the seam and that filler material is obvious too. We talked to Heritage about it and they said they always have to cut in sections for counters longer than nine feet. Neither my wife or I remember that being said up front. If it had we would have tried to find someone else for the counter top. So if your counter is less than nine feet it'll probably look great but longer than that if you want a seamless appearance you might find someone who can provide an uncut counter in your length. Note that Angie's list requires I check the Hire again yes/no field and I put yes, but that is for the cabinets.

Heritage Homecraft is simply amazing. Their follow-through and customer care is impressive. We were very happy with the quality of the product and the workmanship, and especially with the professionalism of their staff through all phases of the job. While their prices were a bit higher than their competition, the quality was absolutely there to warrant it. Best of all, they were on time, and delivered over and above what they committed to. Would recommend them in a heartbeat. Well done!

This is an excellent company. All work was done on time and to our complete satisfaction. We had to call them a few years later to make adjustments to accommodate new appliances. It was no problem and no charge. This company and it's employees are outstanding.

They get a B, but only because the attention to detail by the installer was frustrating and he made some dumb mistakes.  Was in a hurry to complete the project and cut corners on the finish work.   Applied the new hardware using channel locks and knicked/marred the hardware with gouges and grooves.  Forced the hardware screws thru the new cabinet doors and blew out the wood on the inside of the doors. didn't finish all the leading edges. didn't tape off the undersides of the granite countertops before applying the finish all over them.   Didn't protect the hardwood floor before dragging the refrigerator across it and scratching the floor.

Submitted the punchlist and they were very responsive on making it right, and taking care of all the issues.   Had a special person come to take care of the hardwood floor damage and another come to install the new doors and take care of the other punchlist items.  However when the second installer showed up to do the clean up work, he didn't arrive with a list of what he was supposed to do, and ended up not cleaning the underside of the granite, which left us to do it, or we would have had to take more time off work for them to come back again (3rd time).

the refacing is beautiful, the cabinets look great. But it was a process to get there.  They took care of the issues we found, and were very professional and polite. They paid for the hardware to be replaced with new, and reinstalled it.

Make sure you inspect everything before you sign off on the project.  look above, look under, look inside.  open all the drawers and the cabinets.  make sure they protect your surfaces.

we initially met Mike Boyd at the Seattle remodeling show.  After our conversation, we asked him to come to our house for a bid.
my husband could not be present at the initial meeting, so I had to decide on the color of the cabinets on my own.  Realizing I was t comfortable with my decision a few days after, Mike kindly came to our home again when my husband and daughter could be involved in the decision.  Our daughter is an architect and her opinion on the quality of the sample cabinets and color decision was very important to me.  We did change our color decision and The next step was Mike Schatz, Project Manager, came out to do all the measuring.  Once the cabinets were complete the install date was set.

Our installer Brandon arrived the first morning right on time.  Every day he arrived when he said he would, patiently answered any questions my husband and I had, and took great care with our home.  The project took 5 days to complete.  We were very pleased with his work, and would recommend  Heritage Homecraft to any of our friends and family.

They showed up on time and did exactly as advertised. The mess was kept to a minimum, cleaning up each evening. There were a few hiccups during the process, but they were all taken care of. We are very pleased with the outcome and professionalism during the process. The counters and cabinets looked so good we had to have new floors put in. The quality of the cabinet refacing is amazing. They look like brand new cabinets. Highly recommend them and their process to anyone.

Heritage did a quality job.  All was done in a week and they cleaned up after themselves.  Looks very nice.  Was surprised by the cost. If we didn't have very nice granit already, I would have purchased cabinets and installed myself, then had new counter-tops brought in.
