Expressions Framing

I contacted Betty solely on the enthusiastic recommendation on Angie's list. I gave her a call and we set up a date to meet at her home a few days later. She had had a storefront in Redmond but now operates from an attractive and well-organized space attached to her home, which is in a far rural corner of Redmond. My housemate and I brought the prints we wished to have matted. We discussed our general preferences and then spent time making mat and frame choices for each print. We really enjoyed the fact that each individual item (they were very eclectic) got the attention it deserved. Betty had an impressive array of options available and this took some time--and we never felt rushed. After we made our choices, we were told it would take a couple of days for her to work up her quote, and asked whether we would like to leave the prints with her or take them with us. We left them with her. When we got a phone call with the price, we were told a couple of mat colors were no longer available, and we told her to go ahead with the closest available matches. We told her to go ahead with the work and were given an approximate completion date, two or three weeks from then. She said she would phone us when the items were ready, and she could either deliver them or we could pick them up. She phoned as promised, and we went to get them. We were delighted with the finished products. We have used a local craft store's framing services, previously, and they have taken longer and the work was much less meticulous and nicely detailed. We are very pleased with our prints and will definitely use this company again.

We have dealt with Betty for around seven years now. We found her while living in the Lakemont area of Bellevue when she had a shop set up near Matthew's. She then moved to Duvall and we followed her and kept having her frame our items. We have probably had Betty frame around 50 items and spent much more than $3,500.00 but I'd have to pull receipts to know exact numbers. The quality of her framing is superb. She has a great eye for details, colors and framing possibilities. We got to the point we just gave her our artwork and had her choose the framing. Remember custom framing is not like taking something to Aaron brothers or Ben Franklin. Expressions is high end, custom and museum quality and you do pay a bit more for that... but it is worth every penny. If you want something done right, and a business that will stand behind it, Expressions is your framing choice.
