The carpet had a ton of small stains, and i wasn't sure if it was worth keeping. Ernie got the thing looking better than i could have hoped, and it looks practically new without a stain in sight.

Very well. They fixed a problem from the another company's installation and then followed up with the carpet cleaning. We will have them back for round two with upstairs carpets.

Ernie's did a great job--the carpets looked amazing after they were done. As the carpets hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time Ernie worked on them ALL day to get many of the stains out and get them fully clean. They also did a good job at stretching so all of the carpet was flat when they were done. Ernie's was very flexible with their scheduling and there was no mess left behind at all. Very happy with the results!

The carpets look great for 10 year old carpets.  The technician arrived on time.  Surveyed what needed to be done and then gave me an estimate of the cost.  I agreed and he went to work.  He had to move some of the furniture himself.  He pretreated and worked with the oriental rugs first.  I was nervous about that but he explained the process to me and answered all my questions.  Then he cleaned the carpets and used a different spray after the cleaning.  Then he cleaned the rest of the walkway carpets.  Some spots --he was unable to remove (from a past kitty) but he told me about them when he started.  I appreciated his honesty.  The entire process took about 3.5 hours.  What was amazing to me was how quickly the carpets dried.  I was so relieved about that because my carpet was dry after about 3 hours and I could  gently walk about right away.  This was very painless to me and I didn't have to worry at all.

Great service experience.   Employee, Anthony, was on time, professional, courteous, no surprises he explained everything including cost up front.  Our Carpets look great.  Their office called the day after to check on service and answer any questions I may have had.  Over all I am very happy with the quality of service this company provides its customer.  I would without reservation recommend them to anyone.

It went fabulously. I really have no complaints. It took two days of intense work but I am very pleased.
The curtains hadn't been cleaned in 18 years and are the two-story kind created by a designer so they are non-traditional in appearance. They looked brand-new when they were done.
The bathroom marble looks fabulous. Last time I had it done by a different company, we had a dull finish and mildew return within 10 days. This looks and feels superb.
The carpets are professionally cleaned every 3ish years since we have three cats. This bunch of cats are pukers so there was a great deal of detail work that had to be done and a few spots that couldn't be fully cleaned, not that they didn't try very hard! The carpet is showing its age and just doesn't clean as well as it did when it was newer.
The leather couches I'd given up on. Between young kids and three cats with nails, I'd thrown up my hands at them ever looking good again. They don't look new but they don't look appalling anymore. The scratches and tears have been minimized and the leather itself looks healthy.
I've dealt with Ernie and Joy for over 20 years. I appreciate most of all their honesty. If they can't so something or they feel my expectations can't be met, they tell be before they do the work. Ernie has responded to my emergency calls in years past with promptness and sympathy both when I flooded the upstairs due to a faulty toilet and when my cat had a medical emergency and bled all over the upstairs. They are always my first choice company.

Ernie himself came out and cleaned our carpets and did an excellent job!  We will definitely use them again! 

Ernie came out to do the on-site estimate. He was very thorough, explaining how they deal with typical stains (like those mysterious red spots that just appear), and describing the whole process. He also explained the cause of the darkening you see at the edges of that carpeting on stairs (air filtration soiling) and that it wasn't just a shoddy job by the previous carpet cleaner. He also explained in detail how they would protect corners to make sure nothing was dinged in the process. My wife and I thought the estimate was more than we really wanted to spend for a move out, but based on the experience with the estimate process and out gut feel about the whole thing, we decided to use Ernie's company. We can best sum up our experience by saying that Ernie's Carpet Care sets a customer service standard by which all companies should be measured, and against which very few can stand up.
The technician (my apologies, I don't remember his name), took great care setting up and throughout the entire process. As we didn't quite have all our stuff out of the house, he worked around our cleanup, room by room. He was very sensitive to the stresses of moving,  never pushed, and made sure that we were comfortable with the process as he cleaned each room. This wasn't just a cleaning job, he worked as if this were his home. The carpet probably hasn't looked that good since it was first installed. The tech even left us several sets of those shoe covers so if we did need to get back into a room that was done, we could do it without worrying about getting the clean carpet dirty.
If you compare prices, Ernie's price might seem a little high, but don't let the dollar amount fool you. The services provided - both in the cleaning and in customer service - are second to none.

The team at Ernie's was amazing today.  We arrived home late last night to discover that our dog had snuck upstairs (where he shouldn't be), gotten nervous, and explosively did his business all over the carpets in the hallway.  OK, that was more than you needed to know, it was a complete shock to us as well.
Early the next morning I called Joy at Ernie's Carpet Cleaning to ask if they could somehow fit us in that day's schedule.  I was, clearly, a desperate man.  They were already quite booked, but realizing that we had a major issue on our hands (and noses), they graciously made room in the schedule for us.  Super-tech Anthony arrived shortly after noon.  He immediately set to work, provided a clear estimate and set to work. Because they had made the time for us, we decided to have the entire house done, as it had been two years since the last carpet cleaning.  We've had two other companies in our house in the past 5 years - one a national brand - and none has been as professional, enthusiastic, or as competent as Ernie's.  
Ernie's removed stains that had been in our carpets for two years because the national chain said that they could not be removed.  The floor upstairs where the dog did his business is now absolutely spotless. The odor is gone.  The carpets look like new.
I will without a doubt call Ernie's next time I need our carpets cleaned.  They are a great operation.

Ernie came in and did a great job, cleaning up the carpet, very professional and friendly.  Another dog lover, so he understands the problems dealing with an aging dog.

They were prompt and very friendly. They did a good job, and I thought that their price was fair.

We were very pleased.  Our carpets are getting old, kids have spilled, visiting dogs have graced it, and we have even had adult spills.  The technicians surveyed to carpet and went right to work.  It took almost two hours to complete the cleaning.  The carpets looked great, all the stains were gone, and no cleaning fluids smells.  We highly recommend Ernie's.

I had carpet that needed restretching, as it was not originally installed the proper way.  Luis and his helper did a fabulous job and in doing so, discovered a leak in my roof that occurred this week in my kitchen nook and the carpet, carpet pad, and ceiling were wet.  I have a fairly new roof, so I have called my roofer for maintenance assistance.  The carpet stretchers truly know what they are doing and are professionals.

The next day Anthony and Nick, carpet cleaners, brought out a high velocity blower for me to use to dry this area out.  The carpet cleaners did an excellent job as well, and my carpet looks like it is brand new, even though it is 7 yrs. old.  I have used  carpet cleaners many times over the years, but they were never this thorough.

I would highly recommend them.

I called the company after finding the listing in Angie's List.  I had some questions about pet stains and spots which they clearly answered (mostly having to do with the cleaning process and time frames).  Ernie (himself) came out the next day to perform an assessment and gave me an estimate which I thought was very reasonable.  He told me that there wasn't a guarantee that all the spots could be removed.  The following day the actual cleaners came out to clean, they were punctual, friendly and introduced themselves. They wasted no time setting up and getting started.  They vacuumed and pre-spotted and pre-treated the carpet before the cleaning.   They answered my additional questions and I could tell that they had received education and training in the cleaning process.  The whole process took 2 hours.  Since we live in a Condo, I alerted my neighbors that the carpet was going to be cleaned and to expect a noisy morning.  I was amazed that their vacuum cleaner, which was an industrial type, was quieter that my personal vacuum.  Guess what!  I received no complaints from my neighbors.  I was happily surprised when I noticed that all of the stains were gone or improved.  Now I don't need to feel embarrassed anymore.  Would I use them again?  Absolutely.  I have already recommended Ernie's to two of my friends.  (Anthony and Nick are excellent workers). 

He's done a really good job with high quality work, but is it a little bit expensive.
