Kevin from Edge Concrete came to our house to discuss the work and explain to us all the options available when working with decorative concrete. He was knowledgeable and up front about relative costs as well as techniques he recommends, those he doesn?t and those that his company simply won?t do. He also explained the lifetimes of products and the maintenance required. I appreciated this frankness. Kevin also took the time to meet us a second time at a concrete supply store to look at samples of work and a picture that we had taken a liking too. Once work commenced, Jesse, who was in charge of the actual work was very easy to work with. We painted the outline of the patio and path together on the ground and we spoke about exactly the look I wanted. Jesse said ?I?ll make it happen? and he did. It?s obvious these folks know how to work concrete. Work proceeded very quickly and smoothly. Jesse also took the time to pour same concrete samples at their workshop and to stain and seal it with the products and colors we chose to make sure that he would achieve the look we wanted. In the end we went with something a bit different from the original picture. They were also very neat; there were no spilled crushed rock or concrete left behind. We are extremely happy with the results, we have a beautiful well engineered patio that does not pool water and looks great. As an additional bonus the final cost was a couple of thousand dollars less than the estimate.
