We hadn't cleaned the dryer vent since we moved into out house two years ago. They came out within 2 days of me contacting them and did a great job. There was A LOT of debris removed and guess what, my dryer works so much faster now! I will certainly use them again next time we need out vent cleaned.

I moved into a new home. The laundry closet was very tight to host our front-loading washer and dryer. The space is barely enough to host the two units without duct work. I did research for a few days and found so-called recessed dryer vent and that seems the only hope to fit the washer and dryer without damaging/modifying the laundry closet. So I looked for a contractor to do the dryer vent cleaning and install the recessed dryer vent.
Eventually I came across dryer vent solution, which has raving reviews from all sites including Angie's list. So I asked them to do the cleaning and quote for the recessed vent installation.
The person showed up on time and we discussed the recessed vent installation. The vent is designed to be installed inside of the wall -- i.e., behind drywall. He mentioned that but I told him that I don't need it to be installed in that way. Instead, I asked him to install on top of the drywall. This will make the vent pop outside of the wall about a half inches but clearly far less work than taking out the drywall and patching it back again after installation. He came up with the quote and that was within my price range. So we made the deal.
In turns out the installation was not that trivial. I was very glad that I hired someone who had some experience. The space was tight and non-standard installation required some creativity -- meaning cutting out here and there to fit the duct work into the aluminum casing. After the installation, both units are perfectly fit into the closet and even have a few inches of extra space! He also kindly helped move and install the washer and dryer in the closet which I did not ask for.
I am so glad that the recessed vent worked and completely satisfied with the service and price of dryer vent solution. I highly recommend them for your dryer vent work and cleaning.

They replaced the our dryer vent hose, cleaned the vent and went up on the roof to inspect the vent and verify that it was working properly.  Very professional and knowledgeable and pleasant.

On time - great service - provided some good recommendations to improve air flow and how to reduce potential it could happen again.

Philip arrived during the scheduled appointment window.  He did a good job, cleaning out the bottom end of the dryer vent pipe and then going up on the roof to use a special blower tool to clean out the pipe.  We wanted the pipe cleaned because our dryer had stopped working and we were worried there was a clog in the pipe somewhere even though we had cleaned out the top and bottom ends before ourselves.  We were quoted the Angie's List discount price before he arrived, and when he found out the pipe was not clogged and not very dirty and so it didn't take very long to clean, plus he lives close by so didn't have to travel far, he only charged close to half of Angie's List discount price quoted over the phone (he took off $45), which made us very happy.

Dryer Vent Solutions called to say they were ahead of schedule and could come early. Wonderful and worked very well for my schedule. Work was efficient, very satisfactory and I can recommend them with confidence to anyone.

I had a torn flex hose from the dryer to the vent. But the vent was also a flex hose from when the house was built in 1980. He was able to replace the vent and bring it up to code and repair the hose. I don't remember how long it took, except that I felt it was fairly quickly, considering the wall he needed to go through to replace the vent. I have not had any problems since. I do remember promptness, professionalism, and cleaned up afterwards. I kept his card for future reference.

The response time from first contact via angie's list was very quick, and the technician was able to come for an inspection and repair within the week.

Phil (the owner) came out right when he was scheduled to and cleaned my dryer vent/duct (about a 25' run). He ended up using his jet snake from the inside as well as the outside. The outside vent was in a very difficult place to get at, as the deck had been built over it. Phil had to do a tough bellycrawl to get to it but managed to get the job done. As I write this review, we just finished drying a large load (which included a heavy flannel shirt and blue jeans) in under an hour. This would have taken us three hours+ before today. I also asked Phil for a quote for having them relocate the vent/duct to a more easily accessible location. Although he did give me a quote, he actually suggested that we wait and see how well things work with everything being cleaned out. That kind of honesty isn't always easy to find these days. I would definitely recommend Phil's company to anyone that needs dryer vent work done.
