This last job they did for us impressed more than any other they've done. Probably because we never thought of them as a painting contractor. In the past we've always hired painting contractors, but recently have been so disappointed with the quality of work from those that specialize in painting. As we had been so please in the past with Casa Bonita, we thought we'd give them a shot with the jobs we had. As two were more complex requiring extreme attention to detail, we figured it would be a good test of their abilities. Well, we were not disappointed! They did such a fantastic job rectifying an ongoing issue with bubbling paint on a small area of our shingle siding. This area had been "fixed" two other times by painting contractors, yet the problem returned. Well, nine months later, the shingles look fabulous. They did an impressive job matching the color of the 10 year old solid color stain so that you cannot tell where the repair was. Scott took the time to explain what the problem probably was if this did not rectify it and what they would have to do in order to fix it. Thankfully, we have not needed to do that.
In addition to the shingle work, we had them patch a significant hole in a bedroom wall. Drywall patching is an art especially when it comes to seaming, ,matching roller texture, and paint color on 10 year old paint. Again, they did a fabulous job. We cannot see where the hole was and they matched the roller texture and paint perfectly.
Lastly, the trim on two door jambs began to separate from the wall. They were beautifully repaired and once again, they perfectly matched 10 year old oil-based white paint that yellows with time.
We'll be bringing Casa Bonita back to paint a few rooms and touch up interior and exterior trim.
