BERG'S LANDSCAPING

The work was excellent all around and I give them the highest rating for their work. I would definitely will be using them again, in fact we requested for a quotation for a job.

Wouldn't hesitate to hire Berg's again. They were the best. We had some issues last Winter with our walkway crumbling under the snow / ice that we were hit with. When Spring came, the walkway was a mess leading up to our door. We contacted Berg's for a quote. Jeff initially came to assess our walkway and what would be needed and then his associate John took the reigns John was incredible to deal with and really one of the nicest / sweetest people you may ever meet in your life. John looked at our front yard and even came into our home to look out our front window to visualize where the walkway should go. John drew up a plan based on his vision and ours and suggested moving the walkway over about 4 feet to showcase our front porch and also put in a small retaining wall. Berg's quoted us for the project, it was reasonable and on par with other companies. With the plans and sketches it was now up to Juan and Ilou to execute. Juan and Ilou were amazing, just as nice and polite as John. They showed up every morning around 6:30 AM and worked hard through the days to complete the project. Their attention to detail and patience with our questions I would attribute to the fact that they are true professionals. The result of our walkway and retaining wall is that our house now looks a million times better than it was previously. We couldn't be happier and we can't believe that we live in our house. There are usually 2 people that come and do the work. It usually takes about 3 days. 



They are very professional, They do the job when they say they will do the job and they guarantee everything.

They dovetailed me with a larger job and came sooner than quoted.  Juan and Lee are great to work with and did fine work.  They worked well with another contractor on site. I'm h****** that gravel and wish it was more firmly compacted.

They are amazing. We have used them twice for ticket and project. They did it well. We had previous experience with them putting in much larger projects and excellent be just meeting job. Again, they totally exceeded our expectations. The quality of their work is amazing. The main is the son over mail is the gentleman we have worked with to architect our project. We got an incredible design fence. Their staff is top notch and the communication is great. Everything is wonderful.

Bergs Landscaping was professional an punctual. John listened to what I wanted and designed a great landscaping plan. The Bergs team implemented it professionally and completely, on time. I would definitely use them again.

We were referred to Berg's by Aqua Quip in Redmond - we were interested in purchasing and installing an outdoor spa and wanted to landscape the side of our house to make it possible.

John Silvernale, one of the co-owner's of Berg's came out to our house to evaluate the project. Our first encounter was very positive - John is personable and professional. He's a very talented landscape designer. At our first meeting, we walked through the space and talked through our ideas. It was clear at that meeting that John was already creatively thinking about how to deliver a great space for us.

John subsequently drafted a plan and submitted a bid. The price was reasonable and within the limits we'd discussed.

The Berg's crew that worked on our project consisted of two guys. They worked every weekday without interruption. They were personable and communcative and went out of their way to keep the jobsite clean and to accomodate our needs (a dog and a need for fencing to be up to contain him).

As the project progressed, we made several modifications - some proposed by John and his crew as elevation/grading/aesthetics became apparent and some proposed by us. This process worked very well - it was collaborative and adaptive.

The work Berg's did far exceeded our expectations. The timber, concrete, and fencing they did is of outstanding quality. We sincerely couldn't be happier. We would recommend them without hesitation.

John Silvernail came and looked at what I wanted done and came back with his idea for the new steps and an estimate of costs.
2 men from his crew came about 7:30 am and got equipment in place and started with saws, etc. at 8. Very hard working and heavy labor removing old timbers, wheeling gravel and dirt, etc. Worked 2 days until mid-afternoon with few breaks.

All 3 men were responsive to my questions and suggestions. I am very pleased with their work and the whole process.

Of the three companies I looked at (all from Angie's List), only Bergs was able to come up with a reasonable design that really suited my yard shape and size. The design was more clean and geometric than the other providers, who seemed more suited to a higher-maintenance and more overgrown look. Berg's workers did a great job -- all of the ends of the wooden boxes are carefully sawed to fit, even mitered corners look great. Planting boxes are designed well to give plenty of room for the trees, and merge with the overall terraced layout. The work was done on time and on budget. Crushed granite gravel was laid in several areas, and has lasted well thus far. If I had more budget, I'd have them come do more work!

John S spent time talking with us and then came back 1-2 weeks later with detailed drawings, cost estimates, and plant lists for a complete reworking of our backyard. His ideas were superb, but best of all, he was really easy to work with. He did a great job of listening to our needs and coming back with very nice designs that satisfied those needs. He also was able to meet us at times very convenient for us (early in the morning before the work day). We decided to move to another house so we didn't end up moving forward with the project, but the next time we need to do landscaping we will definitely use Berg's Landscaping. We talked with four other landscaping companies and Berg's was clearly a notch above all the rest.

I was very impressed from the initial contact all the way through to the final statement for services. I had dismissed one landscaper and Berg's took his design, improved it by simplifying it, and handled the installation, on time and without the need to rework anything. Berg's was also sensitive to the fact that my partner and I are quite busy, and used our time efficiently. Plus, my dog loved them, and she's a great judge of character.

Our primary contact was great and he talked to us about a lot of options while directing us to go to locations. He walked us through a nursery to talk about plants also. They did paper plants and walkways, cut into stone work, and replanted any existing plants we had. The foreman and his crew did a great job and were a pleasure to work with.

The whole process went very smoothly. John was prompt, polite, helpful and professional at every step of the way, from the design consultation, recommendation for paver products, estimates, and the project itself. Also, the crew members who did the work were prompt, polite and professional.

John and his crew were fantastic! We received several other estimates, and the Berg's Landscaping crew came in the the best overall design for our needs, not to mention they offered a much better price to boot! Our yard looks fantastic!

I had used them previously so I already knew that they were going to do a good job. They did what they had said they would, showed up on time and were very professional, and I am very much happy with the results.
