We have had several homes built in the past and could not believe their lack of customer service and unprofessionalism. The architect with worked with was always rude to us. Made us wonder who was paying who??!!! In the past we used Mascord Architects out of Portland, OR. They were awesome and I would recommend them any day over the folks at Architects NW.
Bottom line, don't bother. These folks are awful.
"Not an accurate review. The fee was $5200 including structural engineering. The client signed the service proposal on Dec 12. The estimated delivery time was listed as +/- 6 weeks on the service proposal. The estimated fee was listed as $4300. The completed plans were picked up on Jan 31. The project took 7 weeks, including Christmas/New Years holiday week. The client insisted that the lot was flat, when it actually had 8 feet of slope from the curb to the waterside face of the house. An accurate topographic survey was not obtained until Jan 18, when it became clear that grading, foundation and porch revisions were required to fit the house to the slope. This caused the delay and the additional revision fees. The plans were complete and of high quality, there were zero corrections required by the Kitsap Co Bldg Dept. The client's behavior caused problems with the architect and the builder. This client review is completely inaccurate. Architects NW makes great efforts to provide high-quality service and satisfaction to our clients."
