"Alliance Restoration is proud to be a NEW member of Angie's List and is greatful for consumer reports such as this. In reviewing our records, we are happy to advise that AMICA or any other insurance company, does not retain services on behalf of the homeower or customer. They in turn recommend customers 2-3 contractors and it is up to the customer to retain any one of them or choose one of their own. This particular loss was reported to Alliance by Amica for emergency water mitigation as the homeowner was out of town at the time of the damage. Please note that prior to any work completed on a customer's home, an authorization for repair must be completed or acknowledged by the homeowner/adjuster on behalf of the homeowner. Alliance is a full service general contractor and water restoration company. However, our Redmond branch deals strictly with structural damage and refers any and all water restoration repairs to one of our many subcontractors. In this case, the water restoration and packout of contents was handled by Servicemaster. Our file contained several notes from the Amica adjuster that he had contacted Servicemaster with regards to the homeowners complaints of property damage and improper dryout. Alliance completed a repair estimate for the structural repair of the homeowner's home per Amica's standards and recommendations. The Amica adjuster reviewed our estimate and reached an agreed cost of repair with the assigned project manager and the repairs were completed as outlined. A copy of the repair estimate should have been provided by Amica to the homeowner and discussed. Alliance received payment from Amica for the agreed cost of repairs once the work was completed."
"Alliance is proud to be a NEW member of Angie's List and is greatful for constructive consumer reports such as this. The company as a whole was completely mortified to read this particular post by a previous customer and wished that it was brought to management at the time. Alliance takes pride in our customer service and in no way would jeopardize our reputation by the actions of an employee(s). Yearly customer service seminars and sensitivity training is completed by ALL Alliance employees. We deeply regret the negative impact experienced by this customer and ensure that any and all remedies have been made internally to prevent situations such as this."
