ADL Floors did a terrific job on our hardwood floors! I definitely recommend working with them. Our project: They ripped out the carpet we had upstairs and replaced it with hardwood; they perfectly matched the wood type and plank dimensions of the existing hardwood we have downstairs. We also had them sand and stain the floors downstairs so that all the hardwood would be visually consistent. Most importantly, they were able to execute a complicated floor pattern that was designed by an interior architect. We have a room in our house that is octagon shaped, and we wanted the wooden planks to follow the shape of the room. This required planning, and precise measuring and cutting; as you can see from the attached photo, they executed it very well! Thank you to Dinu and his team for A+ work!

ADL did a great job! I was so happy that they were ready to do the work on my schedule. We were moving into a new place and ADL worked around our move-in/move-out schedule to have the floors installed and ready for us with great timing. The crew was very polite and professional, I would absolutely hire them again to do more work at my home.

One of the best around great seattle area, probably also one of the cheapest. We were stuck in 520 bridge when Dinu came for the quote. He waited outside for 2 hours. Different from other contractors just come and measure and gone, he was very patient explaining to us his plan. We did one floor for prefinished hardwood and one basement for vinyl floor. People in his team are very polite. They ask for permission for everything and they clean up everything everyday before they leave. Dinu was there a few days to supervise and work on some area which is more tricky. We are satisfied with the result. The subfloor of basement is carefully prepared using concrete/sement and all base molding gaps are caulked carefully. The stairs are beautiful and they also took care of the rounded corner flawlessly.

Dinu is a true professional and the pictures show how beautifully the hardwood floors turned out. They look brand new and the process was the easiest we've ever hard in prep work, lack of dust, duration, etc. I'd hire Dinu again!

My goal was to have the floors in my new home refinished before I moved in. Dinu was quick to respond, made an after hours visit to give me an estimate and was able to do the work quickly. The quality is superb and he runs a great crew.

The product we wanted to refinish our hardwood floors was unique/new to the market and not too many contractors were familiar with it. ADL Floors was one of the Bona certified contractors and after many weeks of trying to find the right contractor to refinish our main floor (over 1000 sq. ft), we decided to hire ADL Floors which was THE right decision. The owner, Dinu, was very proactive and responsive during the estimating process. He was honest and did not try to over promise like some other contractors. He accommodated our last minute repair addition without any hesitation and actually did the repair job himself. Dinu also came everyday and worked along with his crew which made us feel like he really cared about the project being done right. Dinu had the best crew assigned to our project. They had exceptional skills, were prompt and professional especially Stefan, who was one of the best workers I’ve ever met. When Dinu wasn’t at the job site, Stefan was the lead man ensuring things get done right and on time. The best part about hiring ADL Floors was the outcome. We absolutely LOVE, LOVE our new floors. It is above and beyond what we expected. Dinu and his crew far exceeded our expectation. In fact, we are so happy with our main floor that we just hired ADL Floors again to refinish our second floor (even though it really doesn’t need to be refinished). I highly recommend ADL Floors and wish that all contractors were like Dinu and his crew!

Overall the flooring install went very well. There was an issue with the white oak wood grade from the wholesaler, but Dinu worked with them and passed on the discount to us. He was also very fair in price, and even came back to do touch up in a few areas the wood was not taking stain.

Dinu and his team were excellent. The completed the job as estimated. Dinu was pretty responsive and friendly. The work was great. they ended up making a few minor damages to the house wood and walls. Dinu was prompt to visit and fix them. He fixed some and helped to fix others myself!

Dinu, owner of ADL Floors Inc. came out to our home within one day of my first contact in early January to discuss the work I was interested in pursuing: hardwood flooring installation as well as laminate installation. We communicated initially through the Angie's List message center, and then by phone to arrange a mutually agreeable date for Dinu to come out to discuss the project. He arrived on time, and I proceeded to show him the areas of our home that we wanted replaced with new flooring. I told him specifically that we wanted the new flooring to match as closely as possible as hard wood floors that had been installed in 2007. Dinu listened attentively, and I was impressed with his knowledge about the proper installation process for hardwoods (having done some reading on the subject in advance) as well as by the thoughtful questions he asked. During the walk through Dinu pointed out areas that may present challenges and he gave me assurances that he had creative solutions for addressing these challenges (transition spaces between rooms with carpet, and the tile floored bathrooms). He was professional, knowledgable, and I was especially impressed with his ability to problem solve on the spot and the openness with which he shared his ideas. In addition to ADL Floors, I solicited three other bids. It took Dinu about two weeks to submit a written bid, but when I emailed him requesting he send it to me soon, he apologized for the delay and gave a legitimate reason for the delay, and promised to send the written estimate within another day or two. He made good on his promise, and I was delighted when his bid was more reasonable than I anticipated. Dinu's bid was competitive and the most cost effective, and because I was favorably impressed by him as a business owner, particularly by his responsiveness, I let him know I wanted him to do the flooring project for us. We were not in a hurry to start the job because we had several other scheduled obligations in the coming months, so we agreed to schedule the work for late March. I phoned Dinu in mid March to make sure we were still on his schedule, and he assured me we were. The day the work was scheduled to begin, Dinu arrived as he said he would, with a small team of two laborers, and the tear out of our carpeting began. The guys who did most of the labor were very polite, respectful, and focused on the work. They were careful to remove the base boards and door trim without marring the woodwork, and the entire team demonstrated a solid work ethic, working diligently from the time they arrived until the time they left. It surprised me when on several occasions the team stayed late (6:00 p.m. one time, and 7:30 another!) in order to stick to schedule and complete the job on time. The newly finished hardwood floors match very closely to the existing hardwoods, the job was completed on time and within budget! We are extremely pleased by the work of Dinu and his ADL team.

ADL floors has done a GRT job again! When I wanted hardwood flooring, I did not have to research again (though I checked out a few others for pricing). Dinu is a deeply experienced professional. He does not miss any steps in the process. His crew is fast yet thorough. The job was done within timeline. We decided on a different color stain but did not have any delays. I would recommend ADL highly.

All I can say is wow! The final result was amazing and I must say that ADL keeps a close eye on the detail. Adding the hardwood on the stairs was by far the most difficult and considering that our stairs were not standard, Dinu at ADL had to do quite a lot of custom cutting to make it work. I was blown away with how good it looked when finished. My wife and I are so very happy we went with ADL. I got all the choices and options regarding my project. I had 5 vendors to quote on the work and selected ADL because they gave a very detailed quote and explained all the options regarding finish (Swedish vs Water Base). Additionally, ADL did not back away from the difficult parts of the project unlike some of the other vendors did. ADL was not the cheapest quote, but also not the most expensive and I have to say the final result speaks for the precision of the quote and the quality workmanship. While installing new wood and sanding existing wood can be quite messy, my wife and I was impressed with how clean everything was upon the project completion and when we were allowed to re-enter the house. The project was done within the time estimated and according to the quoted price. As a customer, I am really happy I went with ADL. If you are looking for quality at a good price, look no further and trust that ADL will address any and all your hardwood flooring needs.

We love the result of the work ADL Floors did in refinishing our hardwood floors as part of a kitchen remodel. Our floors look brand new again (after 20 years!). We especially appreciate Dinu and his Team's professionalism and work ethic - they took great strides to work within our schedule and we could not be more happy with the outcome.

Dinu and his crew are really great to work with. He was very responsive even with the changes I was making in the estimate process. He came out a few times to take a look at the scope of the project (since we kept changing it). Each time, he was quick to provide us with a comprehensive quote. The quality of the work is excellent. He and his team made sure to contain the dust as much as possible. They cleaned up after themselves every time. Their attention to detail is admirable. We would highly recommend ADL Floors.

ADL Floors removed about 600 sf of carpet and all the wood base. They then installed about 600sf of oak wood flooring. This work was done with care and very good workmanship. After the wood was installed we let it settle in and acclimate for a week. Dinu and his crew then came back on schedule and sanded and finished the new wood flooring. They also sanded the existing wood flooring. After everything was sanded and filled they then applied 3 coats of Swedish finish. They also installed recessed oak grills in the new and existing floor. They did a very good job of reinstalling the existing wood base they had to remove. The workmanship was very good. Dinu worked right along side of his well trained crew and it went very smoothly. I would highly recommend ADL Floors and I would use them again. They were very easy to work with and worked hard to meet the schedule

ADL Floors did a wonderful job refinishing my floors. They took great care preparing the house as well. I had to have an appliance delivered in the middle of the job, and the ADL crew was very accommodating and made sure the floors were dry for the delivery. The house was cleaned beautifully and dust free upon completion.

Dinu from ADL Floors along with his crew did an awesome job in matching the quality of a pre-finished hardwood floors that was install a while back to a point where it is very difficult to let the old and new apart. Dinu helped us in picking the right sizes of hardwood and helped us in understanding the various factors that need to be considered when opting to put hardwood flooring. Dinu and his crew were punctual, courteous and friendly. They took time to do the job right as if they are doing a remodel in their own homes. I'm glad I called Dinu and will he will be first person I call again for my hardwood needs.

ADL floors were efficient and professional. They did an excellent job. The floors were done to my liking and finished on time. Adl removed the furniture and also put it back after the job was done. They know what they are doing. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend them.

Four years ago, Dinu and his men took great pride in their workmanship. Dinu was knowledgeable and capable, when it came to applying a special Omni Gold Matte finish. And quarter round molding was skillfully crafted around our large round wall. Last month we upgraded the toilet in our powder room, and the old toilet left an unsightly footprint of glue or finish. Not wanting to damage the floor, we called Dinu for his help. He came personally to our house to remove the footprint and restore wood to its original beauty. That's customer service!!!
