I contact Steve about cleaning my gutters plus apply moss treatment.  Arranged for a time to due a bid.  Then set a time to do the cleaning.  Steve performed the gutter cleaning and moss treatment as requested.

Used Steve's service a couple of times. Not the least expensive but it worth to pay more for the good quality of his work. Highly recommend.

The work was very thorough and efficiently performed.

It went very well. They were punctual and professional. Some of the gutters in our house are two levels high and our roof line is steep, which is why we hired this job out. Very pleased overall.

We've used Steve for about 6 years now and I highly recommend him. He did such a great job on our roof 6 years ago that I have only needed it lightly treated and that was last month! He's very pleasant and is very prompt. I know he books out way in advance, but his prices are incredible for the job he does. We are moving and Steve will have to start at our new place next season.

I called him up and he look d at my house. He gave me a price and did the work within a week. While he was working, the gutters were so full and later that day I had to leave my home and everything from the gutters was on the ground. When I came back everything was cleaned up!
All of the gutters were pristine and clean. You could tell that he took incredible care to clean my gutters. He also cleaned up my yard to make it look better than what it was before he came. I plan to now use him every 6 months. He was fantastic. He also returned phone calls quickly and left the invoice on my front door due to me not being home.

Steve did a beautiful job - when I got home I couldn't even tell he'd been there, he'd cleaned up after himself that well. Our gutters and roof were clean and ready for winter!

I had been calling Steve for the past couple of months with out an answer. I went looking on Angie's List for another company to clean gutters and roof and that's when I saw A Step Above listed with a review from Feb 3, 2013. I was so happy to see that Steve was working again that I called him the next day. Left a message and that night Steve got back to me saying he could come on Feb 7th to clean gutters and roof. I texted him that Feb 7th would be fine but to my surprise he showed up today and cleaned all gutters, cleaned the garage and house roofs, blowing all debris off of front porch, back deck and drive way. Glad he's working again because he always does a great job, excellent attention to detail, impeccable service.

Steve is back! Steve was on time and did wonderful work -- as expected, because we are long-term customers of his and will continue be. He is professional, courteous, and friendly.

I have used A Step Above to clean roof and gutters for a number of years. Steve is a great guy, and does excellent work at what I consider to be a very good price. I would continue to use Steve, however I have found it impossible to get in touch with him this fall (Nov/Dec 2012). I have left numerous voicemails, and sent him an email. If you can get an appointment setup with him, I would give him a solid A.

They are great, very professional. What I like is the employees wear a uniform so when you look outside and someone is at your window you know it is someone you hired.
The are very clean, very meticulous. I was so impressed. They take the screens off when they wash the windows and they wash the screens. They even clean the channel that the screen fits into. The windows are spotless when they leave.
I have never had them do interior but they do interior and exterior.
I have a really miserable garden window, it's immaculate when they leave. I don't know how they do it but it's gorgeous. I would highly, highly recommend them.
The other thing I really like is they call you before they come to verify the appointment and give you an approximate time they will be there and they are on time.

Very well - Steve was really nice and did a wonderful job! When i got home i thought he had not been there because he did such a great clean-up! I would recommend A Step Above to anyone!

Update: August 2012. I have tried at least twice to contact Steve by phone (his preferred method of contact) in order to schedule roof and gutter cleaning, and he has not returned my calls, nor those placed by a friend to whom I had recommended Steve. I even left my email address as his answering machine requested, but that didn't work either. It is frustrating not to receive a reply, even if it's only to say he is overwhelmed with work and is unable accommodate more.

We are a repeat customer of Steve's - he's professional and very pleasant to work with. The roof, gutters, and windows (we have lots of those!) were done to our complete satisfaction. Steve's clean-up is exceptional, too. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Quick initial response, quick estimate, they scheduled us in a little over a week. Way better price than the other quotes. Great, thorough job, including complete cleanup. They were a little late but called to warn us, and it wasn't an issue. Steve is a pro. Will use them every time in the future.

I am really glad that we worked with Steve. Via email and phone conversations he came across as very professional and very personable. Steve came by shortly after our first conversation and left an estimate (we weren't at home when he came by during the day). I called him back to have him adjust the estimate (we did not want the chemical moss-prevention used since we collect our rainwater for the garden) and he promptly e-mailed me a revised estimate. We scheduled him to come out on 2/28/11 at 2 pm. Shortly before that time on 2/28, Steve called me to let me know that he had been held up at an earlier job and would it be a problem to come the next day (3/1). I told him it was not a problem at all. He showed up at approximately 9:30 am the next day (my boyfriend was home sick that day, so he met with Steve in person). Steve got right to work, raking off the moss from the roof and then using a blower to get the rest of the junk off the roof. He also cleaned out the gutters. My boyfriend asked him about an upper story gutter that had detached from the roof some time ago, and Steve went ahead and took a look and fixed it! He also was able to remove the old Dish network satellite that was left behind by previous occupants. All this, and he stuck to his original estimate! We will definitely keep Steve's information on file, and be sure to recommend him to our friends/family who need work done!

It took a few phone calls to get a date coordinated with my folks. Steve was very fast to return calls. He showed up a few minutes late, but that was not a problem. He pointed out that more area of the roof needed cleaning than I thought and quickly gave an estimate of the additional cost. They did a great job. Very pleasant and professional. Finished right around the time he estimated. Would definitely recommend their work to others.

The person doing the job was quick, efficient, and let my wife know every step of the way what he would be doing.
