AK painting was started in 1998 after becoming Master painter with union companies. I have on job extensive training and experience. After 25 years in trade I assure you I have more knowledge to offer about paint then most companies can offer. I also provide full general contracting services.

It went extremely well. Ken walked into a difficult situation in that the siding contractor was taking many weeks longer than expected. Ken handled the situation professionally, completed the job very timely and did a superb job. I have had endless compliments from my neighbors on the high quality work that Ken did. Ken is one of the most responsive contractors I have ever dealt with. He was always available via e-mail and/or phone. He does what he says he will do!! Doesn't get any better than that!
Description of Work: Completely painted the outside of my home.

AK owner Ken came into our home, went through the whole house, gave us an estimate then never showed up for the start of the job. No phone call, no cancelation, no communication what so ever. Not a professional at all. Would not recommend. You will only be disappointed.

This customer was set for a Monday 9 am start, set deal on Tuesday prior, Customer provided me with an email which I was to send contract to, she never replied. Was supposed to call me back with color for interior of home by Friday or Saturday and never did. Called husbands cell number which they originally contacted me on Thursday, Friday and Saturday prior to start with no answer and no voicemail was available. Should I of shown up at house with no contract, no down payment. not to mention no paint color or paint to apply. Customer called at 9 pm Monday night and leaves message from private number to tell me I didn't show and he's canceled the job. Really 12 hours after I was supposed to show. This was completely their fault and I needed and wished we could have done job. But when a customer doesn't follow thru on their end. I am not going to send employees on wild goose chases I have to pay them a 4 hour minimum for. Trust me the only disappointment was mine with a four day hole in my schedule and income.

KEN AND STEVE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AT A FAIR PRICE. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND PROMPT WITH A FANTASTIC ATTENTION TO DETAIL. THEY USED A POLYURETHANE 50 YEAR CAULK AT MY REQUEST WITH NO EXTRA CHARGE. WE HAVE REFERRED THEM TO TWO NEIGHBORS WHO HAVE USED THEM HAPPILY.
Description of Work: PRESSURE-WASHED, CAULKED AND APPLIED ONE COAT OF FULL BODIED PARKER PAINT STAIN BY SPRAYING AND BACK BRUSHING. PAINTED WHITE TRIM AND DARK ACCENT COLOR. COLOR MATCHED AND PAINTED METAL GARAGE DOOR.
