He used pretty low quality parts for the repairs, we've had to redo all of the faucets and such. The major, like the drain system replacement, that's held up pretty well. He wasn't real punctual but he seemed fairly efficient. Once he got in, he got in got it done and got out.

Ron and his crew did an excellent job installing a new drain line for my grey water to my septic tank. This included the installation as well as the digging of a trench. I am very happy with all aspects of the job.

badmouthing Things started out well - a lot of explaining the process and what to expect. First day to start job, Ron didn't show up. Second day, he showed up a little over an hour late and worked for about an hour. After two weeks, we asked how long until the job was finished. He said "tomorrow" and then proceeded to take another two weeks!
After the job was finished, he presented his bill - which based on his quote we expected to be around $1200. Total cost of services was over $2000.
We had used Ron's Plumbing several times for different repairs and found him to be a bit avante-gard but generally helpful. Never punctual, but for the price we couldn't complain too much.
Now, several months have passed and every single "repair" has come apart. Every single faucet, toilet, and pipe that he repaired or replaced has come apart or started leaking again.
He told us he was using "rebuilt" parts to save money. We explained that quality was more important to us than price. Upon inspection as each problem has occurred, we have found that he used parts and materials that, even if new, are considered "bargain" or substandard.
When we attempted to contact him for remediation, he was rude and adolescent about the issues, and acted as if we had done him wrong. We paid his bill, we tolerated his unprofessional dress and conduct, we tolerated his F bombs and crudeness on the job site, but we expected that with all of his talk of standing behind his work we wouldn't have to threaten legal action to get remediation of flawed work. Unfortunately, Ron Wood Plumbing now refuses our calls and is badmouthing our business and is defaming us personally - simply because we expected him to make good on poor workmanship.
