Every buyer deserves to have Dave inspect their future home. He is very thorough. Your RE agent may steer you away from him because of that, but you will not have any surprises after the sale is final and you are stuck. He gives a great report, with photos, so any issues he finds will be supported via his report. There were issues the other RE agent insisted didn't exist, but when presented with photos and documentation, could no longer argue that, and I was able to get my price reduced. I cannot praise him highly enough.  If you are buying, you need Dave.

He is very thorough and up to date with todays laws and codes.  I wouldn't use anyone else!!!

I contacted NCW by email from their website. They followed up promptly with phone call to confirm a time to meet as we had to drive 2 1/2 hours to meet. He was early and already at work when we got there. Neat clean, well spoken and a very nice guy. He showed us what he found on the 96 year old historic home as he went along and discusssed both the good and not so good things he found. He also provided helpful suggestions about causes, solutions and options. Don arrived with all the tools including inside and outside shoes which he switched every trip through the door to make sure he was not tracking tar for the roof onto the carpets. He covered every inch of the place from the top of the roof to the depths of the crawl space and took lots of pictures all the way through. After about four hours he was done and sat down with us to go over everything he found and discuss possible resolutions. Today I recieved the final report as promised and was amazed at the detail. 90 pages including lots of pictures so I know what my crawl space looks like without the need to actually Crawl in it. Ditto the attic, roof, etc. The report includes links to websites for evry problem (including one to a website offering reproductions to replace a faulty 90 year old light switch) Just a really good job and a nice guy who charges fairly and over delivers on his services. He even had a nice locally made housewarming gift for my wife. I would highly recommend NCW to anyone needing home inspection servcies!!!
