My elderly dog became quite ill with vomiting and diarrhea. Of course it was the weekend. I called early Saturday morning for the dog to be seen. Got to the clinic slightly before arranged appointment time. The lobby was jammed with people and their pets. I checked in and waited a few minutes. Then I was advised that due to an emergency surgery, my dog could not be seen and to come back around 1-2PM. We left the clinic to go home and wait. A little before 1PM I called to make sure the dog could be seen. Was advised it would be closer to 2PM. Drove my very ill and weak dog down to the clinic and waited in the lobby for a short time. A technician came out and told me they could not see the dog. I could call them back in the night if things worsened, or come back on Sunday. I was horrified. This is the only emergency clinic in the Wenatchee area. Wound up driving my dog to another town over an hour away for very prompt and thorough treatment. She could have died, had I not found another vet right away. This clinic seems to have very poor time management practices.

There are several vets in the clinic--you simply request who you desire. Dr Womach has been in the practice the longest and is very experienced . He is soft spoken, gentle and definitely in tune with the animals. You never feel rushed. Once he cared for my daughters dog that ate a pot of boiled onions (a malamute--canine garbage disposal) he waited at the clinic at 9:30 at night for us to get in from the lake---it was around an hour. We followed his earlier instructions given over the phone that did not induce vomiting ,so he had advised us to get in ASAP. He gave him a shot of morphine and that solved the problem. Waylin slept well for the next day. :)
I am not sure about prices. I have been to only 1 other vet practice in the area. It would be nice to have pet insurance but my pets are very old and it probably would cost a fortune. They see the doc annually and it costs around $60 with shots. Fortunately, they aren't sick that often.
Recently, my dog was ill (actually, a first) and I got her in the morning that I called. Though I did not see my usual vet, Dr Miller was very good and thorough. She gave her a couple meds and special canned food. My dog was much better in 2 days. I think they run an excellent clinic. My daughter has her animals seen at this practice as well.
Over all I would give them an A-

While the Dr’s are knowledgeable, you’ll never see the same
one twice. They must be on some type of client rotation. Dr. K. Harrington was
phenomenal with our dog too bad the support staff is incompetent. The front
desk and waiting area is always chaotic. The bookkeeper/secretary (office mgr?)
was incredibly rude and extremely insensitive to our situation. She has
horrible communication skills and has irrational/liable emotions. I won’t go
back again. Which is too bad because all the Dr’s that have taken care of our
dogs are great, they just need to clean up their staff.

Most recent appointment was an annual visit for our oldest dog Gunner Spike who needed to get prescriptions updated. Dr. Ty Johnson was able to update one of his medications saving us a great deal of money and clearly indicated what upcoming issues may arise from our senior pooch in his declining years.

From making the appointment, determining if Dr. Kolokoff or her physician assistant Kari is appropriate to making a phone call for a referral or prescription update, there is always an immediate response and provides confidence in the care you are receiving.

If you bring a kitten in, the vaccinations are free. And in subsequent years, you only pay for the vaccinations, not the office fee. And they are open on Sundays as well. I love Cascade Veterinary.

I took my Chinchilla in to have his teeth looked at. The vet looked him over and found that he also had a fur ring which the vet carefully removed. The vet then looked at the Chinchilla's teeth, and actually put forth the effort to get a good look despite the Chinchilla not wanting to be looked at. He said that it looked like the back-most molars were overgrown and I would need to have them ground down. He told me he could have it done there or I could go to a specialist on the coast whom he would call and set up for me. I have no way to get to the coast so asked for an estimate on how much it would cost to be done at Cascade, they gave me an estimate, and I will be going back next month for the procedure. The visit today cost less than they told me over the phone that is would cost, and the estimate for the work to be done on his teeth was far less than I have been told by other Chinchilla owners the procedure would cost. Over all it was a very good visit, much better than the last vet that looked at my poor Chinchilla's teeth.

They were just wonderful with the job. They got me in immediately when I showed up. They are very reasonably priced and I think that the quality of their work is excellent because now my pets don't suffer from any illnesses.
