Bloomer's Flower and Garden House

I remembered that my friend had mentioned this florist as being the best in town. She said they don't do the typical arrangements and that their flowers and arrangements were something special. I live across the state and I did use them a year and a half ago for the same friend when her father passed away. I was there for the memorial and the arrangement then was very beautiful although it seemed on the small side for the price I paid. But I don't send flowers very often so I might not be the best judge of price. It seems to me that if you spend $50 on a bouquet it should be pretty substantial and having seen that bouquet (the one for the memorial) it seemed to me like what I'd expect to get for $35 to $40. But, on the other hand, the flowers are not boring carnations and baby's breath. They are unique and extraordinary. I called the store and the woman I spoke to was extremely busy. She had me on the phone and another customer at the counter in the store and another line was ringing (poor woman). I think she was the owner of the store and despite the chaotic moment she was very pleasant and gave me her undivided attention. I told her she could put me on hold, which she did, but only for a very short time and then she got right back to me. I told her that the bouquet was for a friend who was having surgery and that I wanted something colorful and cheery and left the rest up to her. I gave her what I thought would be a good time to deliver the flowers but as it turned out my friend was at her mother's the first evening while her husband worked so she was not there when the flowers came. They did not leave them on the porch (which is a good thing) instead they left a message for a call back to find a suitable delivery time. My friend called me after she received her flowers and told me how gorgeous and fragrant they were. She took a picture of them which she will show me next time I visit. She absolutely loved them! I'm very satisfied with the service I received and I would recommend this florist without hesitation. I spent $50 on the bouquet and I think there was an $8.00 charge for delivery and then tax brought my total just over $62.
