Our yard underwent an incredible transformation from Joe and the crew at Anderson Landscaping. We put it entirely in their hands and they took an eyesore and turned it into a garden with trees, flowers, and a natural stone stairway that has likely increased the actual value of the home it surrounds. I've never witnessed that kind of artistry with rock. On top of that, they built a system that requires virtually no maintenance on our part. I would heartily recommend Joe Anderson and his team to anyone who asked.

I would like my fathers Japanese maple returned. It was placed in the care Anderson Landscaping in Spring of 2013. The tree was removed for safekeeping from the construction. The tree has not yet been returned. I have asked for its return. I am concerned the tree may be nonviable. The tree was planted by my father, Dr. Robert Hoxsey, in the Spring of 1963. It was planted in the inner patio before the home was completed. That tree was the first plant he ever planted here. It was the last plant left of the plantings my father had done by his own hands. Currently, I am communicating with Mr. Anderson through my attorney H. Lee Lewis. On September 28, 2016, Mr. Lewis received an Email from Mr. Andersons attorney, Steve Smith. In the message, Anderson Landscaping stated it would initiate a defamation suit based on my previous review on Angie's List. $200

DO NOT USE ANDERSON LANDSCAPING. I was billed over $200 K for work that was not permitted, and did not pass city inspection. I am unable to sell my home in its current condition. It has also dropped in tax value. Joe Anderson subcontracted McDonald Building, LLC. I asked both men regarding the permitting. Joe Anderson said to me not to worry, he would take care of it. I also showed both men the blueprints I have on the house from 1963, signed by Bob Fraley. I requested I have plans to continue the legacy of the home. Project was begun in February of 2013. Mr. Anderson called for an electrical inspection of the outdoor kitchen in Spring of 2016. The inner patio has a walkway. The posts were hanging from the roof. Per City of Wenatchee inspector D. Nichols, the work required building permit, engineering, and plans. I have asked both Anderson Landscaping and McDonald Construction for copies of the plans. I have yet to receive them. The outdoor kitchen was installed with water, electricity, and propane gas. I have no plans for that addition. I have natural gas in the hour. My indoor fireplace was disconnected from that source and reattached to the buried uninspected propane gas lines. Currently the propane to the house is turned off. My homeowners insurance would not guarantee I could file fire a claim without my doing so. I never saw the design for the fountain. I have in my driveway three granite blocks for a fire and water element. I have records that I paid for a fire element which I do not have in my possession. I asked Joe Anderson for the plans. He said he didn't have any. When the inner patio was under repair, a Japanese maple my father had planted was removed. I asked if it could be saved. Joe Anderson said it should last in his nursery. The tree has not been returned to me. It appears to be dying; the top third of it is dry sticks. That tree was planted by my father, Dr. Hoxsey. He and I planted it in the Spring of 1963. It was after we had come home from church. We went for ice cream afterward. I was 8 years old. That is the same tree my father and I looked at, and talked about, before he passed away 24 hours later in 2012. I have been in contact with Anderson Landscaping through my attorney. I am still awaiting a reply. Had I been aware of the history of Anderson Landscaping on the State of Washington Labor and Industries site, I never would have allowed this company on my property.
