I had received an estimate from Mark Easley nearly a year prior. When my husband and I decided to get married at our home in August 2015 painting the trim became a priority. Even after nearly a year, Mark remembered who we were and despite his busy season schedule he made a point to squeeze us in and guarantee the trim would be done BEFORE our wedding. As a huge BONUS, he honored the original bid. The work was done promptly with a team of guys that worked so well together the entire process seemed effortless.
I had many other bids, all were higher than Easley & Sons and didn't include any caulking, gutters, etc. I was pleasantly surprised when at the end of day 1 all of our gutter spouts were removed and painted and day 2 came the 'specialty door expert' who transformed all of our exterior doors to precision.
After the job was complete we asked Mark if his team could do some touch-up indoors, touch-up painting on our fence and paint the skirting around our deck. Expecting there was no way this could be scheduled before the fall...Mark shocked us again by saying "yes we can do that!" We had to be flexible and available to have the work done on short notice but it was well worth it! Our home turned out looking better than expected and can't wait to have them do the siding and interior.

We had some roofing repair done and roofer said there was some uncompleted caulking on dormer. We called Mark Easley and he came out promptly to look. They found it was not a caulking problem, but that the siding had come loose on our dormer, potentially letting water/weather in. Easley repaired this problem for us on the spot at no charge, even though it was not their error or responsibility. The access to repair was on the roof which I could not access, so their willingness to take care of us was truly exceptional customer service and saved me the cost/delay in having to call in a repairman.
We used Easley and Sons to paint our house 1 1/2 years ago and the quality of work, the attention to cleanliness and getting the job done on time was exceptional. The house looks as if it was painted yesterday....great work.
We would highly recommend Easley and Sons Painting to anyone who needs high quality, highly competitive costs for painting of any kind.

It's been really good. Very friendly team, very eager to please and help. If we had a concern about anything, they definitely took the time to address it and fix it and were happy to do so.

Overall experience was and quot;Excellentand quot;. Mark Easley's bid was thorough, professional and highly competitive. He scheduled all work and was on site to check on his crew and our satisfaction several times a week. We also exchanged text msgs and received very fast responses at all times.
From day one, his crew was friendly, highly detailed and at all times were concerned about our house / property. They were on time everyday, had all the right materials and were a joy to work with.
There was one area of and quot;shakesand quot; on the front of the house that looked a bit faded as shakes soaked up more paint than expected. This was not an issue, Easley had the crew repaint and make it right for us.....no questions. He just wanted to ensure we were pleased with the final result.
We are writing this review today, April 25, 2013, but the job was completed Sept 2012. As I walk around the house today, it looks like the work was just done yesterday. No drips, chips, overspray.......just highly professional work, coupled with the owner's personal commitment/engagement that exceeded our expectations.
We would recommend Easley and Sons Painting LLC to anyone interested in a residential/commercial interior or exterior painting job.
Thank you Mark and team !

For the most part, the painter abided by the terms of the contract. Overall, the paint job appeared to be neat, clean and thorough. The painter and his people were professional, hard working, and easy to work with.
But there were a couple issues.
First, when the job was done, we all noticed what appeared to be random circular areas of discoloration, or low sheen, on several areas of the house siding. In a few small areas, there appeared to be sort of a chalky film on the surface. The painter suspected problems with the brand of paint used, and brought back a rep from different paint company to assess the problem. He used some technical terms that were hard to understand, but essentially was saying that the problem was with the brand of paint that was used. He suggested filing a claim with the paint manufacturer. Which I did initiate. On review, the paint manufacturer's specialists determined that the paint had not been applied properly. The discoloration spots and film were essentially due to insufficient drying time between the first and second coat of paint. Considering that the paint was applied late in the season, extra time should have been allowed. We were told that the spots may or may not disappear on their own, and that the film was so-called surfactant bleed-through which should wash off. It is now months later, and it is hard to tell if any of these flaws are still there. Although covered by the paint warranty, it appears that we will not need to proceed with a claim.
Second, we had nearly 7-8 gallons of paint left over, out of a 20 gallon paint job when the job was done. The paint manufacturer tells us that this is the easiest way to tell that the full 2-coat recommended coatings were not actually applied to the house. Unfortunately, the painter was paid and gone when we discovered this. In this sense, I didn't really get the paint job I thought I was paying for.
Other than the issues mentioned, we felt that the quality of the work was exellent

Two thumbs up to Easley and Sons on a difficult house to paint. Large 3 story Victorian with a lot of fretwork, a 3 story turret, and muliple colors with detached garage, Obtained 6 bids and Mark (one of the sons) was prompt and provided a very competitive bid. Very efficient, polite, and hard working crew. Took one and a half days to pressure wash and clean exterior. A few weeks later returned to finish job. His crew worked 10 hour days for next 11 days(with sundays off) to finish job on time. Very good attention to prep work (sanding, calking, and primer), and then 2 coats of paint. Mark was accessible during the job for qwestions and it went smoothly. House looks great.
