Three 2016 no-shows and a missed phone appontment to correct problems.

In 2013 Prestige installed a new service panel...overcharged $500, then charged exorbitant price to replace two switches with dimmers.

A week before Christmas, the electric furnace was blowing the main circuit breaker on the electric panel. EVERYTHING is this house is electric...heat, water pump, water heater, cooktop, oven....I had a heating guy come out, and he discovered that the 200amp main breaker had burnt out. We could see it arc whenever a new load came on. There was a risk of starting a house fire. He told me that I needed a licensed electrician to replace the panel. I called an electrician, whose truck skidded on our country roads. I drove up to rescue him. He looked at the panel, and made a list of parts needed. I delivered him back to his truck. He called the next day to say he was having trouble finding the parts. He said he was fully booked until Christmas, and would be visiting family until the 28th.For three days, i had been freezing (53 degrees in the house, 35 outside), unable to cook or to flush toilets, shower...He was telling me it could be another week!! He said that date depended on the weather and roads!! I FINALLY got in touch with PRESTIGE ELECTRIC. They said that could have an electrician here the NEXT DAY. I was elated, but concerned about parts availability, based on what the first electrician reported. Kevin of PRESTIGE ELECTRIC arrived at 8:30 the next morning, and looked at the panel. It was burnt-out. He went to his truck, and brought out two new, 200 amp panels. He selected the best fit, and went to work tearing out the old panel. He had three boxes of new breakers with him. He had the necessary permits already, and had called the Utility District to come shut-off the power line. By the end of day, the new panel was in, the power restored, and the heat back on. Kevin tested every circuit, and discovered some "unusual" wiring arrangements. He corrected those. The well pump was still not running, and Kevin crawled under the house to fix that. He COULD have said I had to call the well-guy, but he took it on hi,self. Warm water was the first warmth on my fingers in four days. While he was waiting for the Utility District to restore the incoming power, Kevin repaired a bad installation of the line to the water heater. That was a BONUS. I was RESCUED, warm, able to shower and to cook again. Three days to Christmas, and I was back to civilized standards, thanks to PRESTIGE ELECTRIC. It was a whole different response from the first company, and 100% better. excellent work...great response..highly recommend them. A++

Everything went really well. They purchased the smoke detectors and installed them. They did a really good job.
