ORCHARD HILLS ANIMAL HOSPITAL

We just moved here and we needed a vet, and they were close and it turned out they are good. It was $50 for exam and medications. They are very professional veterinarians and the people know what they are doing in there. They are pretty compassionate. I also volunteer for a local shelter and we are always dealing with them with our animals from the shelter as well. They do give the shelter discount.

They are not on the high end of veterinary cost. I guess they're fair. They are not the cheapest, they are not the most expensive, but they are good.

They have a cat expert there, she specifically trains in taking care of cats. Her name is Dr. Jill Martin. She is phenomenal. She is very compassionate. My two cats really love her and I feel absolutely comfortable with the care she advises. She also partners with me in a homeopathic vet. When we want to approach something uniquely, she's using a mix of western and eastern, she's immuneable to partnering with my other vet. She does acupuncture for cats which is amazing. They are all very compassionate and very kind.

There have been a couple of times to get a price quote and the price quote changed when we got there. The quote for the service is correct but they don’t tell you about additional things that may be included. They give a veterans discount.

We will continue to bring our cat to Orchard Hills because we feel she is receiving excellent care.

I've gone to them for a long time. I really like the new owner, but there are some issues associated with their practice that I am not happy with. Their prices are too high for their services including the medication which is extremely high. I would go on the internet and look at the prices that you could buy it for online and take it in to them and they would meet the price, but they are also gouging the customer when they price it so high that you can't even finish a course of medication for the animal because they don't give you enough medication. For somebody who doesn't know about doing this it isn't fair. It was $40 for medication for the ears and I found it for much less and told them it wasn't right. Dr. Bargar owns it and is great, but Dr. Nya Gilmartin is wonderful. They're really expensive, but I have written them notes and they are pretty responsive. I go back to them because of Dr. Gilmartin. Dr. Bargar is actually not working full time and they are both very young, but she is really great.

VERY GOOD. WAIT TIME WAS A LITTLE LONG BUT THAT IS BECAUSE THEY WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF SOME REMODELING WORK BEING DONE. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. DOCTOR VERY NICE and KNOWLEDGEABLE.

THE STAFF AT THE OFFICE WERE VERY KIND TO MY DOG AND HELPED ALLEVIATE HER FEARS DURING THE BLOOD TEST. THEY DIDN'T FIND A CAUSE FOR HER COUGH, BUT DID MAKE A PRESCRIPTION FOR HER WHICH HELPED ELIMINATE THE COUGH.

THE OFFICE WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE OFFICE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. OUR WAIT TIME WAS A LITTLE LONG, BUT THE SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD ONCE WE SAW THE DOCTOR.
