I had an electrical problem in my car and went to Walla Walla Transmissions for a diagnosis. They said they were too busy to see me until the following week. I made an appoitment to bring the car in the following monday one week later. When I showed up it was if they had never heard of me, but agreed to take the car. I left it in their parking lot.
I have business every day that takes me past their shop. After another week went by I could see my car had not been moved. It had not been touched, there was a coat of dust on it with no fingerprints. I went to see them and they said they had a man look at my car but could not find anything wrong. I was suspicious of this but they said they'd get a man on it soon, so I left the car. A few days later it had been moved to a back lot. After two weeks I went to see Zack the owner to find out what was going on with my car. Zack said he thought the car had an electrical problem. Those were my exact words when I left the car with them two weeks earlier! I told Zack I was going to retrieve my car. He said that would be fine, but I owed him $100 for his man's time. I paid him, but I drove away in a car that I could see had not been touched, or improved in any way. WWTS was disinterested in this job--altogether I had wasted three weeks and paid $100 for little if anything. Overall I was disappointed, and resolved to write this review.

Response from Walla Walla Transmission Specialists
"Here are the findings from (removed member name) repair. Unfortunately, I do not recall the time delay in getting to his vehicle, as the diagnostic was performed over 1 year from the time of this post. CUSTOMER STATES THAT THE ENGINE WILL CUT OUT INTERMITTENTLY. CHECK AND ADVISE PERFORMED DIAGNOSTIC AS PER SERVICE MANUAL. NO CODES FOUND AT THIS TIME. INTERMITTENT COMMUNICATION LOSS WITH PCM. PERFORMED WIRING TRACE. ENGINE WOULD RUN AS SHOULD WITH INSPECTION OF PCM HARNESS INTERMITTENTLY. UNABLE TO LOCATE SHORT IN HARNESS. POSSIBLE INTERNAL FAILURE OF PCM. TECH RECOMMENDS REPLACING THIS AS FIRST STEP, BEFORE FURTHER DIAGNOSIS IS PERFORMED The customer declined repairs at that time. Not all repairs are straight forward, and require steps/repairs to be performed as part of diagnostic and elimination."

This is a business I know I can trust. Zack, the owner, provides a good mechanical service including good diagnostics testing. He is very trustworthy and honest and knows the service he provides. He is very competent and his rates are reasonable.
