Jeremy is a wizard with a paint brush! Seriously. No drips, no gunky corners, and his brush strokes are barely noticeable! He really takes pride in his work. His caulking is smooth not smeared everywhere. The new white shelves/cabinet feel smooth and look great! (I have had trim/woodwork refinished/painted in two other rooms over the last few years w/ the same paint and I wasn't terribly satisfied with either finish. The first guy sprayed the woodwork, which left kind of an artificial powdery finish. Then the next guy hand painted the woodwork but his brush strokes are very obvious and he missed spots. I was also impressed that he fit the job into his schedule; it was an awkward, small job, really, given that it only took a couple of hours to do the actual painting, but each coast had to dry at least 8 hours (since it was oil-based), so he had to come back 3 times over 4 days, but only worked/charged me by the hour. He showed up promptly when he said he would and cleaned up daily.
Description of Work: As part of our kitchen remodel, we had a small butler's pantry re-fitted with shelves and large cabinet drawers, wainscoting, chair rail, crown molding, etc. Most of the new stuff was pre-painted white, but not all of it. And it wasn't a very good finish. We hired Jeremy (who had stained our new deck last fall and did a fabulous, very neat job) to prime where needed and brush paint all of the woodwork (using an oil based paint from Sherwin Williams that I provided). He also did a lot of prepaint caulking and repainted the walls in the room, which required "cutting in" around the new shelves/crown/etc. We plan on having him come back and repaint the rest of the kitchen cabinets and all of the woodwork in the enclosed front porch in the near future.
