When I discovered that program was bogus I tried to contact the provider but they would not respond.  The result was a refund through my credit card.  I had done business wit them for two years.

This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. F rating with the BBB, now I know why.

this is to lengthy to describe and makes me sick to have to recount all the horrible unresolved issues...sorry!!

The owner, whom I have known and done business with since the early days of the business, was not in at the time of my call but I was told that I would be contacted as soon as he returned (it has been nearly a month since I contacted WKA and no one has given me a call).
In short, the owner has forgotten his responsibility toward his customers, because of this attitude I contacted an other computer repair company which responded quickly and did the repairs in my home, for a fair price, one day after we talked.
I will never again use WKA for any kind of computer repair.

I returned to WKA Inoovations and asked for a legitimate copy of Windows 7. I was offered a refund of the original purchase price ($108) or the opportunity to pay an additional $80 for a new, and hopefully genuine, version of Windows 7. It was explained to me that WKA no longer has a relationship with the vendor ("One Tech") that provided WKA the defective version of Windows I purchased in Nov. 2011. And, apparently, the price of Windows 7 Ultimate had increased (by $80 or so) since the original purchase. I felt that if I had been sold a real copy of Windows 7 in Nov. 2011, this additional charge or price increase would be irrelevant and that it would be reasonable to expect replacement of the product I purchased in good faith. The gentleman at WKA explained that because they no longer did business with that software vendor, he couldn't help me. I explained again that it didn't seem fair that I should bear the burden of WKA's poorly conceived relationship with the software vendor and offered to split the cost ($80) for the a new Windows 7. He refused. I explained the policy of automakers fixing, for free, defects in the vehicle, even though the defects may be the responsibility of a sub-contractor. He was unmoved and explained that software isn't beholden to the same legal instruments as material objects such as cararts. That may be the case but I was sold a defective and possibly counterfeit set of Window 7 CDs and the same ethics should apply. In the end, he passed on the entire cost of his mistake to me. I was unimpressed by his inability to explain why he thought this outcome was fair and his impatience with my calm reasoning. It was a very disappointing experience especially as I always try to patronize local businesses.
