Yard Pro Landscapes

I have had to call them on many occasions because they have not weeded. Steven, is difficult to reach and messages have not been returned. He acts as though you are being a grumpy pest. We are looking for a new service. I was surprised to see them listed on Angie’s list. I would not recommend them.

They come once a week. I feel sorry for them, I have a swamp in my yard because of the rain. The price is a flat rate because we use them year round. Their responsiveness could be a little problem sometimes. They come on their schedule. We'v used them for 6 years. It took about 20 minutes to complete the work. There's usually 2 workers. They are very accommodating. I can asked them to do anything and they would. They're very good, I baked them cookies for Christmas. I suggest people try them. I do some trimming around the place, I leave it in the bag and they take it for me.The workers work hard and they do very good work.

We had them come out once every other week to tend to the yard.  Getting in contact with them seemed difficult and calls and e-mails weren't returned very promptly.  I thought they would be doing a lot more than just mowing my lawn and using a leaf blower but most of the time that was all they did.  We told them we wanted new bark dust spread in the yard and they did get it and deliver it, then put it in small piles all around the yard but left it that way for days on end, not spreading it out so I ended up going out myself and spreading it because it just drove me nuts to have it sitting there unfinished.  I also had them remove one bush under a tree.
I wanted to have all the yards edged and the weeds removed every time they came but that never happened, just mainly mowed the lawn and that was it.  It seems ridiculous for me to pay that much money just to have someone come mow my lawn and not do anything else. Many times they came and were done within a half hour.  Finally, I got tired of paying for not much of anything and went back to doing it all myself.  Next time if I have a company come and do any sort of yard work for me I'm going to get a referral first from one of my neighbors to see how good of a job they do.  I would not want to pay again just for a mowed lawn.

It was fine. We were happy with them and will be using them in the future.

He had a lot of delays leading up to the service, throughout the service, and with followup. I had to call repeatedly to complain that the work wasn't done.

Steve and his team do an outstanding job. They are kind, courteous, fast and affordable. We hired them last June for full service year round at $162/mo. They mow, trim shrubs etc. and maintain the yard every week. They even winterized our sprinkler system. Thank you Yard Pro!

A great experience from beginning to end!  His workers were prompt, courteous and neat!

The yard looks great and they are now doing a weekly maintenance program for me.

They were pretty good.  They were fine.  I don’t have many comments.  I never met the workers that came out.  Overall, the work is fine.

I spent about $500 for their service. The lawn guy does very good work but you have to stay on top of him. He is a very nice guy but he says he is going to show up, and then he doesn’t. I might use him again.

I called him and set up a date to come over and give me an estimate.  I then had him come over at a later date that we set up and then did the work that I wanted him to do.  He was very professional and friendly while working in my yard.   I had another estimate done earlier which was alot higher than Yard Pro Landscapes estimate.  I plan on using him again on a monthly basis.

Yard Pro had a number of challenges during the time of the work we contracted them that included significant staffing turnover.  There were a number of delays and we lost the 2011 season for planting our garden as a result.  Steven apologized often and presented additional work to us to make up for the delays.

We were anxious to have them do our landscaping on a monthly basis as the price was good and the work was better than we could do ourselves.  But the continuous delays and a few issues with communication of the original work to be done didn't leave us with a sense of confidence that the work would be consistent.

The work that was completed was pretty good.  I would recommend that those that are looking to do business with Yard Pro in the future that you write down specifically the work to be done in your yard, that you both agree on a timeline for completion and that you both sign off on it.  We didn't do this and that is where much of the confusion and frustration occurred between us.
