The owner was extremely professional. Which sold us on using them . The crew came in and said we can't do this for that much money
it's going to cost double that and gave the name of another company. We fired them on the spot. My wife called the owner and he assured her they could and would do it for that price. The work started fine. When it came time to paint things went down hill .
They stood on the banister to paint in place of a latter now it"s shaky . They got paint on the floor , woodwork , and furniture . The "cleanup" was poor and the paint was one coat which shows. We finally gave up and just wanted to move on.
p.s. the owner said he was extremely embarassed about the work they had done
"First to begin with, I am Abashed as this Information has been public for a year and I nor my Company was not made aware until now. I am the President, Warren Merrill of We Do Everything Business & Home Services, Inc., Located at 4707 NE Minnehaha Street, Suite 401, Vancouver, Washington 98661 and Service Washington and Oregon. I did Initially, meet with [member name removed] at her Home located at [member information removed] and discussed a Lath and Plaster Patch work due to water damage appeared to enter from the roof. When the Lead (We Do Everything Business & Home Services, Inc.) Showed up to complete the Job at the [member name removed], the lead did not read the job order correctly within and the lead thought it was an entire float over (normal within this damage) within the four rooms and not a Patch Job. I, discussed the two options with [member name removed] , did not wish to spend the extra money for the entire float job and only wished to spend the money to patch. I also discussed with [member name removed] that a Patch would never look new and would always look like a patch job. [member name removed] executed the contract for the patch work and not the float over job (float over would have been nearly triple the patch work contract). We Do Everything Business & Home Services, Inc., commenced and completed the work and painted the patch areas within our scope. The crew spilled some paint and we cleaned the paint up immediately after [member name removed] and I met. I asked [member name removed], why did you (she) not ask the crew to clean it up that day (one day before her and I met to discuss) she saw it? Unfortunately, their is more to this story. Myself and my staff were indeed embarrassed to work in the [member name removed] home. On or before, ten in the morning, [member name removed] was unable to function well either by motor skills or simply maneuvering in a straight forward movement. Needless to state that made all of us very uneasy to work within the [member name removed] home. We Do Everything Business & Home Services, Inc., went above and beyond the duty in which contracted and to satisfactory fulfill any and all contractual obligation(s). Feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns. Truly, Warren Merrill, President."
