Outstanding job. Fair price. Highly recommended. Cesar and his team did a wonderful job demolishing my 18yo cedar fence and replaced it with a brand new one with metal posts. We love it! We made a couple design changes from the old fence on his recommendation and they were spot on. This crew is very professional and they know what they are doing. Worked fast also. Found out my next door neighbor used him a bit last year. This is your guy if you need fence work. Call him!

Cesar fenced our back yard and was great with communication. He would tell me when he planned to arrive, and he got the fencing job done quickly.

I would give 8 stars if I could. Cesar and his crew member took on a challenging metal slat fence build which can be more difficult if the terrain is uneven. Mine was...just a little but that's likely worse. Vista was very quick to start, came on time, and was professional in every aspect. The quote was very competitive. Quality craftsmanship was exhibited at each step...each pole was plumb (level and upright), level to other poles in a stretch as well as checking the level of each of the boards. I had all the supplies as my brother was going to do the build but he got injured. Cesar and team was very mindful of the stock I had and used every board to maximize efficiency. And, when decisions had to be made, my input was respected and honored. (Often doesn't happen as a female with contractors). I am so thrilled. I highly recommend Vista Home Construction for your fencing project.

From the get-go, Cesar was very professional. He came highly recommended as being competitive in pricing & expert in performance. We are happy to say that he lived up to all expectations. Though the job was in Portland, he willingly arrived to provide a free quote. He maintained good communication, always advising of any necessary changes in timing or scheduling. Together with his brother, the two of them constructed our 6' cedar fence & gates with precision & care, creating a tight fit between the boards. In addition, they took extra time to ferret out & return inferior boards that we had purchased from a discounted source. Next time we will stay out of the way & let Cesar provide materials from his reliable supplier to complete the job according to his high standards. We totally trust Cesar. He is honest & we highly recommend him. In a word, "Fantastic!"

Everything was so smooth, I already recommended to friends. Showed up early Monday morning by noon on Wednesday they were packing up leaving.

Working with Cesar was great! We had issues with multiple people prior to Cesar in getting quotes. He took the measurements and he gave us a quote within 10 minutes while everyone else needed a few days or even a week. He was awesome keeping on top with the invoices and communicating with us in scheduling everything. I definitely recommend him and will probably use him for his other services when we are ready.

It went great! Cesar did a beautiful job on our fences and gates! Even the extras I wanted done for the dogs... Cesar didn’t hesitate to fulfill everything we wanted done to keep the dogs safe! Every day I am so happy to look outside and see my beautiful yard because of Cesar!

Masterful!!! Flawless work for a fair price, with perfect communication throughout the project. We had a pretty complicated fence to build since ours is a corner house on top of a steep slope. Also, our lot is pretty uneven at the top of the slope since the rain has visibly washed out the mulch on one side. In spite of the challenge, the outcome was perfect, we cannot be happier and would hire Cesar again in a heartbeat. Cesar and his crew provided the quote promptly after visiting our place and was ready to start the project soon after. During the project, as soon as any important decision came up (and many did) Cesar requested input to move forward to make sure we agreed with his solution, and if we did not agree, he would calibrate the solution immediately to match our preference and with a super nice, easy going attitude.

Chris from Vista Home Construction was quick in responding to my request for a fence replacement quote. I had quotes from a couple of other contractors, but they were very unrealistic in their estimates. Chris was able to visit the day I contacted him, he took time taking measurements diligently and worked on the quote right away. His estimate was accurate, reasonable and affordable. He happily worked with me to customize the fence to our exact needs. He was polite, punctual and offered great recommendations on the type of fence to install. When I shared this info with our neighbor, they too joined in getting their fence replaced. Chris and his team were great to work with as they showed true professionalism. Throughout the process, we had a few changes to what we wanted done and they accommodated without any issues. The quality of wood used and the workmanship is excellent. Our old fence was removed and the new privacy fence was installed in our backyard and it looks absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend Vista House Construction for being prompt, professional and absolutely worth the investment.
