I've got three Fords. I bought a Ford from them a couple years ago. The experience was good; I enjoyed it. It wasn't too much of a hassle. I thought their price was fair for what I got. The quality of the vehicle has been really good. They've taken care of any issue I've had. Everything I've had done there has been pretty punctual.

I get free maintenance on my car if I go through Vancouver Ford. I've always used them. It's a quick change they have there. Everything they've done has been right what I wanted and expected. It takes less than an hour for the oil change and tire rotation. In their waiting area, they have a TV and coffee and some kind of beverage; I don't know about snacks. Communication was good; they keep trying to sell me a new car every time I go in. I'm kind of meticulous on my car, so it's always clean when they give it back to me, so I can't complain. They just clean the outside; they run it through the car wash.

We have bought many vehicles in 50 years, and this was THE most stressful and frustrating deal we have ever experienced. When the new truck was expected within two weeks, he informed us he dropped his trade-in value a whopping $6500, due to "the passenger side air bag problem", and he could not keep the original agreement under those circumstances. He and everyone else knew of this air bag issue when we ordered the truck and accepted his trade-in offer. Tragically, in the time we waited for delivery of the new truck, we let private buyer offers go away. So you can bet we lost a lot of money. We've been told by another dealer that this was just an excuse, that he simply did not want to honor the deal. We were so upset by this that we were ready to reorder a new truck from different dealer and wait another 8 weeks. However, we were able to do a dealer transfer after this truck arrived, but that is another story. Don't accept a deal until you get everything in writing, get signatures from salesman and general manager! Maybe then you're protected from the b.s. and game-playing.

I probably wouldn't go back there. I knew what the vehicle was worth and had been haggling for a long time when we ended up getting the price that we wanted but it was kind of a little bit unnecessary back and forth on their part. Then we finally get that and there not a lot of follow through on the things they said they'd follow through with the deal. After you finalize on the price, they come back and say, 'oh by the way, we have this on it and if you want to leave it on it, its going to cost you a couple of hundreds of dollars or more.' And I wouldn't have that, I'm like that was not part of the deal we just negotiated. So it was kind of a difficult process than it needed to be. I'm still sure they made their money just fine because we paid them a fair price for a year old vehicle. Then we had financing prearranged and then they came up with all kinds of excuses to push their financing on us. So I wasn't totally happy about that. They basically dropped the ball until I called them like 5 weeks later to say, my license plate is in and that's when they started rushing around to get the permits. We got through the sale in a timely manner after we got through all the haggling. The rest of it went in an okay amount of time. They should make the pricing agreement process to be a quicker process. They should also followup with what they said they'd do, that's all I was asking for. It seems simple but to me that's sound service.

I bought the car used and it was my first experience with them, so it is hard to say anything about their service. However, it was fairly routine. They were waiting for me when I came in, they knew who I was, they acknowledged my appointment and took care of it right away while I had had a cup of coffee in their shop. I was out of there in an hour. The quality of repair was good, everything worked. They were very professional and punctual.

I took the vehicle in to get the spark plugs changed and to find and repair the source of an oil leak. They called me and said that the head gaskets were leaking and the repair cost would be $3500. I told them to go ahead with it. Because I have a problem trusting service shops, I went in when I thought they would have it torn down and looked at the gaskets. Yes, they were worn out. Score one for the shop. When they called and said it was done they told me that the final bill was a lot less than the estimate. I didn't think that ever happened. Then, 750 miles later, when the truck developed a miss, they repaired it free! That never happens. I really don't think that the miss had anything to do with the work they did as it turned up so many miles later. I am no stranger to auto repair and have done all of the repairs on my vehicles before this. Health issues made me take the truck in. Because of the service and the great attitude of the service people that helped me I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. Excellent experience.

My husband has a diesel truck with a 6.7 diesel engine. The engine has known issues. So, the truck has been in and out of the shop for the past year. It has been in the shop more than it has been out. They won't replace the engine which is the faulty part but they have replaced the top end, the bottom end and everything that has to do with the gas line. It is dumping fuel into the oil pan because of the faulty engine. The engine needs to be replaced. They have not done it and they refuse to do it. It has been horrible. It was supposed to be under warranty but we spent $195 for a filter that we asked for them to put in. The actual work that they were doing for us was for the engine which was supposed to be under the warranty and so, we did not pay for it. We bought our truck there. The quality of work that they have done has been okay. We will not use them in the future if we don't have to. They have agreed to leave the miles ticket open even though we have long passed our 100000 miles which is when our warranty is supposed to run out. The ticker is going to be if they take it back and fix it. The last time when we were there, my husband was really mad. He said that he was not going to yell at anybody but he would like to. He told them that either they have fix it or buy it. They made sure that the emails got to where they needed to get to, from the management to the service technician. We are getting more of the saying. The clincher is going to be when he is going to take it to Pasco next week, if the gas mileage is nine and it starts smoking at the rear end like it has been. We take it back and if they say that we are over 100000 miles that's when the not pretty stuff is going to happen. They are supposed to keep that ticket open for us because it has been an issue since the past year.

I visited Vancouver Ford to have them determine which parts needed to be ordered to replace a broken antennae on a 2011 Ford Fusion. Multiple service representatives looked at the broken antennae and told me that the repair would take approximately 3 hours plus they would need to order the correct parts in advance of the repair. No problem; they had me schedule a repair which should have taken place yesterday.

When I brought the car in for the scheduled repair, the service representative told me that they hadn't ordered the part and that they would need me to reschedule the appointment for the following weekend. I was incredibly frustrated and disappointed with this experience. It was an immense waste of time, and the service department never acknowledged the fact that they screwed up and had inconvenienced me. I won't be contacting Vancouver Ford for any additional service in the future based on this unsatisfactory experience.

I called and made an appointment to look at a Ford Flex. The car was being sold as "new," but had over 4000 miles on it. It was being used as a "demo" by one of the employees, meaning it was their every-day car. There were Mand M's all over the back seat floor. If I'm going to buy a brand new car, I don't want one that has been "lived in" by a family for 4000 miles. I ended up buying from Courtesy Ford instead.

Both times the service was outstanding. As per my request, they contacted me so I knew what it would cost and what I wanted done today. ( I opted not to have the odometer problem fixed right now.) Both times they provided shuttle service and a complimentary car wash. All the staff serving me were friendly and professional.

Took Escape in for tune up, inspection, and had transmission flushed as well in Dec '09. Nothing was wrong with the car - it was just a good thing to do before a trip. Went on trip, a bit over 1000 miles, and by the end of the trip - car was very slushy and transmission was rough. It had slowly gotten worse during the trip. We had no accidents or problem driving conditions during the trip. The car should have been fine. Took it back in when we got home and they told us the transmission was ruined and would cost $3000 to replace. We complained that they had just flushed it and inspected everything and they immediately got a Ford program to pay about $1500 towards the job and the transmission flushing machine company to pay another $1000. We ended up paying $500. Very possibly we shouldn't have had to pay anything since I am sure the problem was somehow with the initial inspection/flushing. But we did. They did the work quickly and well and it seems to be fine again. So it shouldn't have happened in the first place - but they fixed it quickly and apparently well. I feel that whatever happened in the beginning inspection, they backed up their work and in the end did a good job.

Very strange ordeal. I dropped the SUV off on a Tuesday evening. By Friday, no one called me to tell me about their findings. On Saturday morning at 8;45 am I called them, but no one would answer the phone, even though the dealership and service department was open. I left a voice mail, only to receive a message from the business development coordinator questioning why she would be getting this type of phone call. Perhaps their answering machine system was misprogramed. On Monday next, I called to inquire about the progress. I was told that the person who works on this is not there and I was to call back again the next day. Next day, still not there. Perhaps the replacement was back ordered? On Wednesday, I called again. There was no idea of when. On Friday, I called again to tell them that I needed the unit. I would be there at 7pm. I would wait for the back-order. Upon arrival, SUV had to be reassembled while I waited. A week later; silence, no call.

THEY WERE ALL NICE ENOUGH, BUT I WAS STILL WITHOUT A VEHICLE FOR TWO DAYS AND THE PROBLEM WAS NOT CORRECTED. IF THEY SPELL AS WELL AS THEY REPAIR, I SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SURPRISED. TYPICAL DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE FOR ME. GO TO JIFFY LUBE.

OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH VANCOUVER FORD IS AVERAGE. WE HAD SOME WARRANTY WORK REGARDING A SEAT THAT WAS INSTALLED WRONG, BY MANUFACTURER, THAT WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THEM TO FIX FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. THE WORK WAS FINALLY COMPLETED THIS TIME. THE WORKMANSHIP IS FINE, JUST A LITTLE BIT FRUSTRATING REGARDING HAVING TO BUG THEM TO DO IT.

WE DROPPED OFF THE TRUCK, AND HAD IT BACK SOONER THAN I HAD EXPECTED. YOU COULD NOT EVEN SEE WHERE THE DENTS WERE. THEY EVEN WASHED OUR TRUCK FOR US, TOO!
