Titan Painting

Jennifer from Titan is friendly and responsive when it comes to new business. She was quick to respond when I inquired about services. My wife and I decided on the service (came with a five year warranty of the paint-job), we were informed that once the pressure washing was done, the house had to dry for some time to ensure the paint didn't encounter any issues. Due to the frequent rain here, it was a couple weeks before painting began. The painting crew was friendly and courteous. However when they painted our front door, instead of the semi-gloss we had decided on it was painted in flat. We initially paid $300 (!!) to have the door painted. At this point we also determined that the paint went on a lot lighter than we had wanted (a dark brick red vs. a light red/pink as it turned out). We told Jennifer the issue with the sheen and indicated we'd like a different color as well. We were charged an additional $100 plus the paint to paint the door again, despite the paint being the wrong sheen.
All in all, we paid roughly $2000 for Titan to paint the TRIM of the house, the garage doors, and the front doors. We have vinyl siding so no other painting was done. I mistakenly didn't get other estimates, but it's hardly a stretch to consider this way overpriced for what was done, not to mention we didnt' get the front door repainted for free, considering the paint was incorrect to begin with.
A few months after the front door was painted, the paint started to bubble and peel. On November 10, 2013 I reached out to Jennifer at Titan to indicate I'd like to have the door fixed since it was done improperly to begin with, in addition to this being just a few months into a five-year warranty. I received a response two days later indicating Jennifer would look at the crew's schedule and have someone come out to fix it. It is now December 18 and I have heard nothing from them.
All in all, Titan is a friendly enough company. The young workers they hire work hard and quickly and are friendly. However their responsiveness is slow when it comes to services they've already provided, and I think they should do more to satisfy their service warranty. Their prices are also excessive, so buyer beware. Be sure to shop around first.

The job was to paint the exterior of 2000 sq foot, 2 story home. Challenge was in getting work scheduled, part of the issue was the weather and having it be dry enough to paint. Once the work began, it went smoothly. The on-site crew was neat,were professional and polite. However there were a few issues, such as lots of sawdust and litter left behind on the site - as well as the work signs.
