Came fixed it, did not charge me anything.

After a day delay that i agreed to, they were here at specified time and job was done in less than hour.

He was quick, professional, and expert in all things garage door. Ryan didn't try to upsell or get us to buy unneeded services. He reused the metal wires already in place, although it looked frayed to us. He dusted it off and showed us that it was still in good shape. It's refreshing to have Ryan as our go-to guy for garage doors not too far from our neck of the woods. He even gave us the 10% Angies List discount.

It was a really great experience.  Ryan was prompt, efficient, and friendly.  He was very organized and got the old door off and loaded on his truck (to haul off) very quickly.  He then got to work on the replacement door, yet was willing to answer the questions we had for him regarding the door and installation.  Once the door was installed he tackled putting up a garage door opener (selected one for us with a lifetime warranty)  and the associated remote controls which he showed us how to use.  He then went through the garage and cleaned up any residual items and debris associated with the install.  Through it all he was pleasant and very patient with all of our questions.

Great service! Ryan was able to come out the same day and was actually early for the appointment. He was courteous and professional.  He did a great job and finished on time. Ryan even adjusted the garage door springs at no additional charge. Ryan is more interested in doing the job right than as fast as he can. He also does not try and sell you items you do not need. I called on a Tuesday, and was told the work could be performed the next day.  I was thrilled.  I received a call from Ryan approximately 45 minutes before the appointed time to confirm he had the right materials for the job.

As promised, Ryan was at my door at exactly the promised time.  He was extremely professional, polite and accommodating, and worked efficiently.  When he was finished with the installation, he walked me through the new system to be sure I understood how it operated, and answered all my questions.  The work was done in a neat and quiet fashion, and he removed all debris from the old system. 

Overall, an A+ experience!

Because both garage doors would not open wide enough to allow cars to be parked inside the garage due to the erratic garage door openers, Ryan arranged his schedule so that he was able to install my new garage door openers the day following his initial evaluation.  We appreciated not having to park our cars out on the driveway

Amazing!  On Friday July 3rd (official observance of the July 4th holiday) the cable on our garage door broke and the door came crashing down bending the frame.  It was stuck cattywampus and wasn't going to budge.  I made several calls and  most places were not working.  Ryan technically wasn't either but said he would come by in an hour.  He was there in about 20 minutes.  He was able to get the door straightened out so it was at least manually useable until a new one could be installed.  He called yesterday to confirm the installation and  told us when he would show up.  He arrived today on time and did the job professionally and even hauled the old one away. We have zero complaints.

I *never* write reviews unless I am completely satisfied (or if I'm very unhappy), but this company was perfect.
When I called them, I told them they had installed a spring 3 years ago but it broke.  No worries, the owner (Ryan) said, it was probably covered under warranty.   He came out the very next morning and, sure enough, he said it was all covered.
He diagnosed the problem deeper this time and noticed that the guide wires were frayed and the pulley-wheel-thing that the wires go on were not working well either.   He replaced all that and then decided that the springs he would use this time around should be stronger, so that they would last at least another 7 years.   No extra charge for the  new springs or the upgrade or his time!
Ryan went above and beyond any service guy I've ever had work on my house--very prompt, courteous, and more than fair in his charges.  I highly recommended him.

Quick and efficient.

Broke on Sunday.  Called Ryan on Sunday, expecting just to place a voicemail, and he answered.  We discussed the situation, and he came out on Monday, actually 10 minutes early to our rental house.  Unfortunately, the renters had gone shopping and were not at home.  He called, was very accomodating and we rescheduled for Wednesday.  Once again, he was on time.  Very friendly to the renters and us, and was very efficient.  The price was very reasonable, the work was very well done, and everyone is happy!  Thank you Angie's List for a great recommendation.  If you need your garage door fixed, call Third Generation Overhead Door.

It went very well.  Ryan is a down home guy, seems honest and knows his stuff.  He returned my call very quickly and came on the same day and on time.  He was very courteous and helpful. I will definitely call him if I have any further problems and I wish him the best in building his business.  May God Bless him in all of his efforts to restore the family business.

Ryan came to the house on the day I called, took one look at the garage door mechanism and knew what was wrong.  The installers from another company had not completed the job properly when replacing the spring.  It took him less than 5 minutes to fix the problem.  Customer service skills are excellent for this company!  Fair, honest, and reliable.  I will use this company in the future.  Very professional!

Third Generation Overhead Door was very responsive and they were at my house within a couple of days from my initial contact with them.  They were right on time and finished the entire job (replacing broken spring and installing new opener) in about three hours, including going programming my remotes.  They even hauled away the old opener.  Great service!

Closed garage door early in the morning when a spring broke. Called Ryan and he said he would be out early in the afternoon. I asked him to call when he was on his way, as our driveway is gated and locked. He was very punctual and called when he was 30 minutes away. He replaced both springs on the door. The job was completely done in less than an hour. Ryan and his partner were very professional, friendly, easy to talk to and knew what they were doing when it came to replacing the springs. Ryan does quality work. He sprayed all the hinges on the door, tract and lubed where needed. He also replaced a couple of worn rollers. Wow! Sure opens and closes a lot smoother and quieter.  Also, the door was not square with the foundation, so he leveled it. The guy sure knows what he's doing when it comes to repairing overhead garage doors. I got more than what I paid for. I would definitely recommend Ryan to anyone who needs a new garage door or for repairs. Great job, at a great price. Thanks Ryan.

Great job!  Our door broke Sunday afternoon.  Ryan answered the phone on a Sunday when my husband called and was able to set up an appointment with us for Monday.  He arrived right on time (not only that, I had our appointment time wrong and arrived home what turned out to be 15 minutes late, so I was thankful that he was still there when we arrived), he knew exactly what to do when he saw the problem, performed the work quickly, and was friendly with our 5 year old son who was interested in the process.  Reasonable price, friendly, good work done fast, can't beat that!  I would recommend Third Generation to anyone, and although I hope we don't have another broken spring anytime soon, we'll definitely call them again if we have any garage door work to be done in the future.

I never met him because I was asleep as I work in the night, but the guy did an excellent job.  I was happy with his work and he took care of what was needed to be done.  He showed up when he was supposed to show up.  The price was reasonable.  So, he did well. 

Tues. night the spring broke in our two car garage door.  I called Ryan at 6:00 a.m. and amazingly he answered his phone. I explained the problem and he promised to come to our house at 9:00 a.m. He arrived on time and spent over three hours repairing the problem.
He also replaced the rollers on the other door----he honestly told me it was not not necessary at this time but would improve the performance. I really appreciate his rapid response to my problem. He is very honest  and pleasant to work with.

Ryan answered the phone when I called.  He came out and gave me a quote the same day.  We scheduled the work to be done
a few days later.  As promised,  he arrived at scheduled time.  He replaced the entire garage door while I was at work.  I appreciated that he called me before and after work done.  Overall he did a great job and I would recommend him.

If you have an emergency and need a garage door quick, these people will probably help you.
I had such an emergency and they were quick to respond. This is a big PLUS.
The installer was very courteous and knew what he was doing which is also a plus.
The only negative thing is that I was quoted one price on the phone and then was charged
a higher price when it came time to pay (there were no additional items purchased). 
Eventually we worked it out, but this kind of misunderstanding makes me uneasy.
