Blind Guy- Vancouver did an excellent job for us. Some of the small details- like taking off their shoes when they were in the house- were appreciated. The communication was excellent and timely. Even with the holidays happening mid- order it was still a reasonable time to have them installed. We appreciated the fact that Dale felt that one of the blinds was not quite right- it seemed okay to us but his expertise said otherwise. He ordered a replacement (no charge to us) and then replaced it- we would have never known that anything was wrong with it.

We had a smooth order and installation of shutters throughout our new home Thanks to Dale and Vicki! Read the reviews about other customers' experiences with them and decided to give them a try. We weren’t disappointed! Vicki clearly communicated the installation process and Dale was personable and highly skilled regarding the custom fit required in each window to ensure that the shutters looked and functioned as they should. The turn around for the shutters was earlier than expected! Dale was upfront about how long it would be from factory to home when we ordered, so the only surprise we had was a positive one when we had them installed sooner. Our overall experience, from the customer service to the final product in our home, gave us a lasting impression that The Blind Guy has built a company based on dependable results that we wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Dale was awesome, start to finish. He was friendly, clean-cut, and very knowledgeable about our options and available products. We are so happy with our new shutters and look forward to working with Dale again.

Only one hitch; the 2 windows in my bathroom should have been 'top down/bottom up' but they were only top to bottom.  He called the manufacturer (Hunter Douglas) and new blinds will be sent out early next week.  This was a manufacturer error so no additional fee will be charged. 
Dale assured me that once they arrive, he'll return & switch the others out pronto.
Extra Bonus:  Had 2 faux wood blinds in another room with pulls that no longer allowed opening/closing the slats.  Without charge, Dale took those apart and restrung them & now they function as designed.  Although we didn't purchase them (they came with the house) am grateful for his expertise and extra service.

On 10/04/14, I received tabs for all of the blinds which were drop shipped from the manufacturer, Hunter Douglas, at no charge.  I've never been disappointed with the products from Hunter Douglas and have always been pleased with the courtesy and promptness of Dale at Blind Guy to assist in my requests.  Dale is amazing!

He is always on time, responsive and professional.  His price for our most recent purchase was over $400 less for the exact same product than other companies we were looking to use.  We love working with him and have recommended him to many other people.  The only way to go when shopping for blinds.

He was outstanding. Came out and measured the windows and we placed the order. He said may take 3-4 weeks BUT arrived in 1 week. He brought them out and installed in less than 30 minutes. Great service

He was responsive to my initial call and scheduled a visit promptly. I had done research online ahead of time and had a good idea of what I wanted. He took a lot of time to help me sort through all the various options and colors. In the end I chose Hunter Douglas Silhouette blinds for my living room and dining room. I considered sliding panels for a patio door but Dale suggested vertical honeycomb blinds as an alternative. I also got a honeycomb for the kitchen. I am very happy with all the blinds. The Silhouettes are beautiful and the vertical honeycomb works great on the patio slider. Two of the Silhouettes were a little noisier than they should be when installed so Dale suggested that it was not how they should be and ordered replacements that came in a couple weeks later. Dale did a great job with the measuring and was very neat and efficient with the installation. Throughout the process, Dale was very professional and pleasant to work with. I would definitely use him again for future purchases. 

My experience with him was beautiful.  He was punctual and he couldn't have been better.  He came in and measured for the blinds I needed and I got them from him.  He was punctual and he did everything he said he was going to do.  The job turned out just fine.  The job overall was very good.  I would definitely recommend him.  He was accurate and considerate.  He took out his shoes so that he wouldn’t mess up the house.  I had priced around before I took him.  He was very professional.

Dale Beeson is a very busy one-man operation.  My wife and I enjoyed working with him.  He's very personable and really knows his stuff.  He offers different brands in different price ranges.  He brings plenty of samples to inspect.  You end up having quite a few options and he does a great job of helping you narrow it down to what works best for you.  The initial visit lasted about 90 minutes and we had our bid. 
You pay 1/2 up front and then he contacts you when the blinds are ready to install to make the second appointment.  That takes about two weeks.  We were out of town the Monday he called so we set the install appointment for the following Monday.  He completed the job in about two hours. 
We thought we pretty much knew what we wanted originally but Dale was able to show us some options that we had not considered.  For example, we ended up with 2-1/2" horizontal blinds on eight of our windows when I originally had thought the windows would only be able to handle the narrower 1" slats.  The 2-1/2" slats look great and fit the casings perfectly.  They add a really nice dimension to the new windows and are easy to operate.  The house was built in 1979 and has 2x4 walls.  I believe code is 2x6 now. 
The patio slider got a vertical honeycomb blind and we put a horizontal honeycomb blind on the large living room window.  I wasn't sure if I'd like the vertical honeycomb for the slider but it's very easy to operate and looks really nice so I'm happy.
When considering color, Dale pointed out to consider the colors on the outside of the house as well as the colors on the inside.  He also suggested that we stay with the same style and color for the blinds that faced the street to keep a uniform appearance.  For us that meant we needed something in a gray tone for the six windows that faced the street.  This information confirmed my initial choice of gray. 
After Dale completed the installation I inspected the new blinds from the street and was pleasantly surprised to find that you could see the lines of the new blinds and the gray shade of them appeared to give each window kind of a light smokey tint.  That tint works perfectly with the white vinyl window frames and the color scheme of the house.
We are very happy with the job Dale did for us.  After six weeks of sheets and blankets covering our new windows, our home now feels like a home again. 

We read Angie List reviews and decided to call, Dale was busy on a job but returned our call promptly. He asked us questions on what we were looking for, scheduled an appointment. He came to the house, showed us samples ( which were spot on for our wants), options and let us select while providing product guidance on how it would work in our home. We selected, he measured and provided a quote. We liked his professionalism, knowledge and price so we ordered. He told us how long it would take and called us when the blinds and shades were ready. Well we weren't (new house) so we had to wait three weeks. When we were ready, we called and Dale scheduled a mutually agreed upon install. During the install, we found out Dale had installed blinds in all but two houses in out development which in itself is a testimonial. He also told us, any problems, to call him.

So, to sum, we called, he came, he installed and we are happy with the install and product.

I called The Blind Guy's local number, and left a message. Dale responded back to me within twenty minutes. We talked about what I was interested in, and I was able to schedule an appointment with him for the next week.
Dale showed up on time, with all the different samples of fabrics. He was able to make some great suggestions, and had some great ideas on a problem area. He is very pleasant to work with, and not at all pushy. His communication and follow up is very timely.

Very polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely use again! I am very happy with my window coverings!

We have a large (76 inch wide) living room window. After many years it broke and began to droop. We contacted Dale, he replied quickly and we made an appointment for him to give us an estimate. He arrived on time and we discussed a number of options before deciding on the replacement. He told us it would take about two and a half weeks for the oversized shade to arrive. It took exactly two weeks. He called us and installed it on the same day. We are very satisfied with Dale's professionalism, the replacement shade and the cost. We would highly recommend the Blindguy of Vancouver.

My request for an estimate was answered promptly and Dale paid attention to what I wanted. He gave information and answered my questions and then measured all the windows. We had just done a whole-house remodel so all the windows were new and needed to be covered. The bid was submitted quickly and the shades and shutters were ordered. The shades arrived right on time, about 2 weeks or so after the order. We knew the shutters would take longer. When time had passed and I had not heard about the shutters, I called Dale and found that there had been a miscommunication with the manufacturer and the shutters were not started yet. Dale put a rush on them and in just a couple of weeks, he was here installing them. I was impressed with his attention to detail and his efforts to meet the customer's needs.

Arrived on time for measuring and estimate appointment, was cheerful and resourceful. Had good input ideas. Measuring and estimating was painless.When blinds were ready, came out and installed them, was cheerful and informative.
Blinds look great, I'm really pleased with the whole project. I will definitely use The Blind guy again and highly recommend his services
