They drove up a shared driveway and parked their truck on my property.
They blocked the driveway at various times and claimed they could because they were doing work next door. They plugged their compressor into my property's electric fixture without permission. My tenant discovered this when she returned home. They claimed they could do this because they needed to to do their work on the next door house. When I confronted the workers, they claimed they had offered to pay for the electricity they were using, but the tenant said they had not. I asked the foreman how much they intended to pay the tenant and he said $60 for the trouble and inconvenience. I asked the tenant if that was acceptable and she agreed and said if was okay if they used the shared driveway for their ladders. The next day they paid her $20 (not the $60 they had promised when I was there.) I called to complain and was told that they had never promised $60. The company did not seem to know that I was there when the promise was made.I would never use this company. They lacked respect and consideration for adjoining properties and they lied about how they were going to solve the problem.
It was really an awful experience for the tenant and totally disrespectful.
