SPEED'S TOWING OF VANCOUVER

~ 1 hr. to show up. sent rollback instead of front wheel lift as requested. Took one hour to move because of wrong truck and cost $200! If driveway wasn't uphill I could have pushed the car home in less time. Speed's would have spent half the time if they had sent the truck I asked for. I should have asked for price quote in advance and sent truck away when the wrong type showed up. I donated the car to Habitat for Humanity, their company sent the proper tow vehicle and the driver was hooked up and gone in 10 minutes.

It went from bad to worse.
Three days later, I got a letter from Speed's saying that my car was abandoned and would be sold at auction if I didn't pay for the tow and storage. They took my car with my permission, but did not take it where I requested it be taken. I didn't abandon it. In subsequent letters back and forth, they claim I said I couldn't pay for the tow which is why they took it to their yard. I never said any such thing! They have made false claims regarding conversations between myself and their driver as well as the office lady I dealt with in person at their office.
As it stands right now, the last letter I got from them with a balance said I owed $1363.13 for a $255.00 tow they didn't deliver where I directed.

Their price was awesome, everything else was expensive with a lot of other charges like mileage. They came with a long bed and towed the vehicle. It was a straight up cost of $72.58. Sue was the one I spoke with and she was very courteous.

They are prompt, nice, reliable, highly skilled, and I would recommend them to others.

THE GUY LAUGHED AND JOKED ABOUT IT NOT BEING A BIG DEAL THAT MY HUSBAND LOCKED HIMSELF OUT OF THE CAR WHILE IT WAS RUNNING. HE SAID IT HAPPENS MORE OFTEN THAT WE WOULD THINK, PLUS HE ONLY CHARGED US $40 WHICH WAS GREAT.
