What the initial survey told me as to what I would get, verses what I got were very different.
Technicians don't know the equipment, and my house is more of a learning experience to them than providing a system that works trouble free.
George was great. He was very prompt, professional and organized.
I highly recommend them due to their patience and professionalism.
"April 27, 2012 Response to Angie’s List Member Comments 1. The microwave transmitter (one of two) was determined to be defective out-of-the box after consulting with the manufacturer’s technical support. We returned it and the problem was corrected, but our customer refused our attempts to re-install it claiming that it was no longer new but “used”. The manufacturer supplies the same warranty as new unit. 2. We tried repeatedly to return to the property to complete the installation to the customer’s satisfaction, but were refused access to the property. 3. We tried to have our owner visit the job site to asses the damage to the barn and get an estimate from a qualified contractor, but the customer said the only remedy would be to replace all the siding on the side of the barn where we ad attempted to mount the unit, not realizing that we had a defective unit. The “damage” was several small holes that were drilled to mount the equipment. 4. The other unit was also installed and worked fine. It was also mounted to the metal siding on the barn and transmitted back to the same receiver location. 5. As a Better Business Bureau member we suggested that we would be agreeable to turn the whole situation over to binding arbitration for resolution, but the customer refused this. 6. The exterior wiring for the camera system had to be run neatly around the exterior of the A frame home as there was no crawl space to run wiring in. The customer agreed to this after it was explained what we intended to do and how it would be done. 7. The power supply for the barn cameras were plugged into the only AC power available. Had the cameras been working and recording, any attempt to disable the power to the cameras would have been recorded before the power was disconnected. 8. DVR’s have little rubber feet just like any DVR, there are no “legs” to install. The customer has wanted the DVR to be place in an unventilated loft with no power available and difficult service access. 9. Any gutter work that needed to be done would have been repaired had we been allowed to inspect and evaluate and hire a qualified contractor for this. 10. There were two small claims court hearings that were held in regards to these issues. Judgments were issued both in favor of the defendants and plaintiffs. 11. On February 24, 2012 I received an e-mail from this customer inviting me to participate in a money making opportunity that is making her $6k every month. The URL for this opportunity is not valid, and the e-mail was unsolicited. We make every effort of insure that our customers receive what they contracted for and are satisfied. We were denied the opportunity to correct these issues. The customer had also contracted for security alarm service and was being monitored, but quit paying the money monitoring charge claiming that the service no longer worked. We were refused and opportunity to service this system and eventually madder demand for payment for services rendered. Thom Livengood Sales Manager"
