He did an excellent job repairing the areas of my deck that another contractor had poorly installed. The cost was reasonable and he knew exactly the correct way to take care of the problems. I would hire him again with confidence.

He put some paneling in the bathroom and he did it very strangely. He put the paneling over the baseboard. I asked to take them off and he said he couldn't cause he glued it.

Excellent repair work and diligent, courteous and professional work. Cannot tell there were ever wall heaters installed throughout.

Curt was absolutely stellar! From our first contact he was prompt - listened to my design ideas - had inspirational input when I needed help - and took meticulous measures in every aspect of his craftsmanship. In addition - every night when I returned home from work - my house was neat and clean. Curt stayed in touch with me throughout the whole process. If I reached
out to him - he answered when he could and/or always returned my call within the hour.
At one point, when the under-cabinet lighting part of the project started - the led lights we had were marketed as dimmable, however once installed we discovered they basically had two setting, bright and brighter! Not at all what we intended. Both Curt and I researched and knew what was needed to achieve the dimmable element I wanted. Curt price-shopped and found a better deal than where he was first directed - saving a substantial amount of money on the finished product.
The wall paint I had originally picked out - although beautiful, was a bit more yellow than would compliment the colors in the project pallet. We both agreed that a more muted hue would work better. Without hesitation Curt made the needed changes and the color was perfect.
When it came to the backsplash - which turned out to be the most difficult element for me to pick out (changing 4 times before I made a final decision), I was concerned it would be overkill to use my tile of choice on the entire wall space between the countertop and cabinet. But I loved the tile and had to have it! Curt offered his idea on how and where to use it. I went with his suggestion and it was brilliant! The night I returned home after he installed the backsplash - I think I sat in the middle of the kitchen and smiled for 2 hours! I still am!
He stayed on budget and I never felt like I needed to question anything along the way. He noticed more than I did and took care of everything on my final list - even replacing a smoke alarm in the hallway that I couldn't reach - that had nothing to do with the kitchen project.
Curt's calm yet confident demeanor made me feel secure in his ability to envision my plan and execute with excellence. I felt like he truly partnered with me from start to finish. The project was a complete success and on time! I couldn't be happier - it surpassed my expectations ...and I'm a picky picky person! Curt helped turn my dream kitchen into a reality!
I already have him scheduled for my next project later this fall.

I needed to tile our master bath room show after having it rebuilt. I provide all the material with the exception of tile underlayment and metal end strips. I was not satisfied with the quality of work was not professional. The spacing between tile was no uniform, the mosaic tile was flush with one another and he did not chalk around the shower drain once he was finished. I had the gentleman install my shower pan earlier and did a good job.

Curt at SOS is our and quot;go toand quot; guy now....he is punctual, he is priced well, he is thorough, he does not just a good job but a great job. He was well aware of our time constraints and finished all the work in time for the appraiser to come through and not see and quot;work in progressand quot;.
We will be leaving his business card for the buyer, just in case she needs handy-man service, and will be using him in our new house when the need arrises.
SOS simply is fabulous.

I called Curt late on a Friday to look at a mold issue I found from a siding leak a while back that apparently did not dry out all the way. He said he had a few jobs ahead of it but he would try to fit us in next week. Curt called and said he would be there monday at 8:30am. He arrived around 8:20am and got right to work after laying down a bunch of tarp to protect our floors and bedroom furniture. By the time I got home 5 hours, everything was done and he was gone. Left the bill and a nice notepad. I would definitely use SOS again.

I have no complaints so far with S O S Handyman Service. They are always good. The quality of work is good so far. The work is still on going.

Great from estimate given, special ordering of skylight.  Once window was in, and the weather gave us a break, he was here on time ready to get to work.  Started on Thursday, removal and installed new skylight.  Back on Friday to work on interior, and finished texturing  and cleanup on Monday.
Very pleased with his work and pricing.  Would not hesitate to call Curt again.

We had a and quot;wonkyand quot; downspout set up at the juncture between our house and our garage, it was causing our siding to bubble, so we knew water was getting behind it. Called Curt at SOS, he came out and uncovered a lot more than just a little leak....a large area around the back door had dry rot. We asked him to give us an estimate to fix the dry rot, fix the downspout/gutter issue and give us a price to build an and quot;overhangand quot; over the back door and two windows - something we'd thought about but just hadn't done.
He provided an estimate to us that evening, we approved it and he started work the next Monday. The project took 5 days, with Curt and his wife doing the work together. They were punctual, professional, courteous, CLEAN and fast.
The new overhang is fabulous, the flashing between the house and garage was painted to match the house, as was the new siding. A new gutter is tied into a workable downspout and all the water is channeled to that downspout and not toward the house any longer.
We are thrilled with the result....Highly recommend SOS Handyman Service.
We are looking at replacing our kitchen counter tops soon.....and will call Curt to perform the work.

They were very professional and kept us informed of progress. We have had them before and service has been very good.
