The price: The first vendor had quoted us a price which we later found out was below market. Shawn said he would honor that price after hearing the story, but we preferred to pay him what he would have charged in the first place. That he would offer certainly speaks to his integrity!
The time: All of this good service was intense work, and it was done between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Amazing. We took the furniture to him because it was easy. He delivered it back promptly, in time for us to host family and friends. Okay, we used the chairs … at Shawn's advice we left the table in the garage to cure a bit longer and used folding tables instead. We appreciated that he was looking out for the long-term best interests of the new stain, instead of letting the holidays rush the project.
The experience: Great! He was a pleasure to work with, his price was fair, and the end result better than we ever could have hoped for. Looking forward to the next project!
