"Hi [Member Name Removed], I’m sorry you feel this way. We explained the scope of the work to you prior to starting the project, which included laying the new vinyl floor down on top of your linoleum, which showed no signs of water damage or rot. It’s not unusual to lay new lvp flooring without stripping old floors down to subfloor. We were trying to minimize the cost and timeframe of your project so that you could stay in the house, which you okayed prior to the beginning of the job. Again, I’m sorry you aren’t satisfied. If you’d like a quote to remove the flooring and tear out your linoleum, we’d be more than happy to provide one. That being said, your house is a hundred years old and I can’t guarantee the floors won’t still have a few squeaky spots."
