The workers were very professional, they kept the house very clean while they were working. They were very responsive, answered my questions.

It went well and then it went less well. Installing the insulation was the best part and I was very happy with that. They were reasonable. We took a little break and we came up with refinishing the basement which was something that they were working on and we started with one guy and talking it through as our basement was unfinished. One half was unfinished and we finished that and in the process they put in the four bathrooms where they had toilet sink and finished the laundry room. We ended up finishing the job with another fellow and in the process some of the verbal agreement disappeared. I learned later they never got the building permits and there is no record of them in the city. They were on the contract we signed and I was less happy with it. We thought we did well with them. We did the kitchen ourselves and we learnt from this experience. The workmen were great and cleaned up after themselves. My issues with them was that some of the details I had discussed with the first guy didn’t get in to the contract and second guy came in and walked right through and did only what the contract said and wasn’t doing anything else. It was kind of a transition problem. Regarding professionalism they were fine. It was learning for us that we could do ourselves and save money and get a better quality product for the money.

The overall quality was very good, I was impressed with their work and I would definitely use them again.
